My first and only visit - I was impressed by the size and quality of the market, but wary of the parking situation. With no obvious dedicated car parking in sight, cars were parked for hundreds of metres along the raod both sides of the market, where there were 'no standing' signs. After checking a few car windscreens for parking tickets and finding none, I also parked, assuming the council was supporting the community market by allowing parking during market hours - that would be a reasonable and community-minded way the Council could support its rate-payers and the important local tourism industry.
But no. I received a hefty fine in the mail two weeks later. Shame on the Council for this blatant revenue raising, which would have raised tens of thousands of dollars that day. At what cost to the reputation of the market and local tourism? Come on market community - take some action please.
And don't just tell me that there is dedicated parking somewhere - why were so many cars having to park on the road? How about some signage for first timers? Something is not working here.

DO NOT GO THERE. Hardly any parking
Went on a beautiful day to support the local community. Got 175 $ parking fine.
There were no signs of no parking. Came out angry and disappointed. Shame on you Mornington Paninsula Shire

Visited Red Hill Community Market over Easter and we had a great time Traffic was banked up within a few km of Red Hill but was worth the wait
Took us a couple of hours to go around the market but there were range of sellers and the quality was fantastic One of the best markets I have been too

The Red Hill market was an experience. We went on easter Saturday and so did everyone else. The market was great plenty of different stalls to explore. I am sure you find what you want there. I got my nut clusters for my yoghurt in the morning was so wrappped. If you were going to this market get there early if not a long wait to get inside with cars.

Went on 7-3-20, market was pretty amazing with huge varieties of different stalls, has something for all age groups but primarily meant for families with kids as they have got so much in for them which is fantastic.
The reason I have given 3 🌟 is that they charged $20 per adult and (maybe $5) per kid and despite that there's no EFTPOS receipt which is given unless you ask for it and sadly if you want one you gotta go somewhere in the huge market to get that.
Now it's good for maybe family with kids but otherwise it's nothing extraordinary. Glad they have firies, royal flying doctor and other services but when you say community market, the whole essence just got broader and charging $20 per adult, which is mentioned almost nowhere when you search for this market with such good reviews.
Glad to keep the community spirit going but at pretty high costs.

Hi, thank you for your review. However the Red Hill Community Market was not operating on the 7th of March, instead another community event was taking place. We do not charge $20 per adult, we actually charge no entry fee. Only $5 parking which is controlled by the Red Hill Lions club. We apologise for the confusion and hope to see you next month on the 4th of April.

Great fun. There were many stalls with a good variety of quality products.. I completed the majority of my Christmas shopping!

Just loved this market - crawled through multiple jewelry stands, plants, clothes, food stalls etc to find some great bargains. Only problem was 2 hours was not enough to get around to everything before they started closing down. Just a note that one parking official was very rude without any cause, but we must have got them at a bad time.

I’ll start by saying I am not a huge fan of markets but red hill was always one of the better ones. We were in the area so stopped by, what a disappointment. The majority of vendors were selling food (the type you eat on the spot) so if you are hungry you may love it. We were heading to a lovely winery for lunch so were more interested in looking at non food related stalls of which there really seemed to be very few and the quality was not high. Waste of time.

Wonderful market - large qty of stalls and lots of crafts, local produce and food vans. Some beautiful gift ideas. The setting for the market is very relaxed. Parking was $5 don't park on the road we did see people getting fined.

Over 300 stalls, great variety of local produce, crafts, food. Get there early to avoid the crowd and if you want free parking be prepared to walk a distance otherwise $5 for secure and directed parking.
