An easy drive from Eltham to Yarra Glen, free parking on course, plenty of inexpensive snack food and drinks, get up close to horses jockeys and owners, bookmakers to compare with TAB prices, a free seat in the stand to watch the racing. All good fun and would recommend for family outing.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Yarra Valley Racing Club for making our 30th Wedding Anniversary a wonderful day out with our large family.... they went out of their way to give us an awesome day, and we were thrilled with the marquee and table set up, in the most gorgeous spot directly facing the track. Such a great memory - we really appreciate all your efforts!! Highly recommended....

was a great spot to watch racing, now its even better with the renovations that took place a few years back. they are the place to go during the summer season with the yarra glen cup around march a highlight. the markets at racecourse are also quite good

Fantastic day at the races! $10 entry and had a rippa time! Missus had some champs and got up close to the finish line. Frothies were a decent price. Games and activities for the kids. Great day out!! Well done staff!

We have been to going to the St Patraick day races ( held on the sunday closest to st patrick's day) for a number of years. This is an entertaining day out for the family as everyone is out to have a fun day. We get a Marquee near the finish line. From here you can see everything happening on the track. They have the Irish dancers, fashion on the field and a couple of horse races thrown in. Nothing is very far to walk and its not over crowded.
