This best way to start off a genuine Nashville visit. Taking the Grand Ole Opry House Guided backstage Tour was top notch and very rich in history. Very special to visit such a historic and rich part of Nashville's history.

Very informative and really enjoyed seeing all that is backstage. Dressing rooms, lounge area, music rooms, sound stage. Glad we took the tour.

The venue is amazing with lots of photo ops outside and inside. The auditorium itself is beautiful and comfortable, and they have a large gift shop for choosing souvenirs and t shirts. I suggest that you always check the program line up before you go. We were there on a night when a visiting church choir was most of the program, along with a few well known artists. It was a good evening, but not what you might expect.

We saw a wonderful lineup of singers and comedians. The evening began with the Opry square dancers followed by the Riders in the Sky, Hannah Dasher, Jennie Seely, The Fairfield Four, Mandy Barnett, Henry Cho, Restless Road and Mindy Guyton. What a great evening.
For handicapped people, parking was a breeze with security driving us to the gate. They also brought us back at the end of the concert,

We are among the people who did not enjoy the show. The first singer was good, the others were not.
I enjoy country music and often listen to it but did not enjoys. The drinks were ridiculously priced.

What a great show! Larry Gatlin was the host for the evening we attended, and performances included The Gatlin Brothers, Riders in the Sky, Mark Wills and Sunny Sweeney and they performed Opry Country Classics.
Entry and exit into the theater was very easy, and although our seats were in Section 8, they were still good seats.
Consessions were very expensive, as expected. If you just need something cold - there are ice machines with clear plastic cups - I got a cup of ice and enjoyed it during the show… for free.
You can’t do Nashville without going to the Grand Ol Opry - just make sure to check out the lineup so you get the best show.

Looks like from videos and their site this is a sit down venue only. No standing at your seat which is insane for a concert. Is there somewhere you can stand? Concerts aren’t run sitting.

Tickets will be delivered electronically via AXS. There is a transfer ticket option, so that should be able to work. However, if you want to be 100% sure I would recommend calling to purchase - the people who work the phones are extremely nice and accommodating and will make sure you get what you need.

What's a good section to sit in that isn't too expensive?

We sat in the rear section of the floor and I thought it was great. The camera occasionally got in the way of pics from there, but significantly cheaper than main floor section and not so crowded. The venue isn't that big so there really isn't any bad seats.
I looked at the February, 2023 Backstage Tour calendar and there are many days that do not have Buy Tickets as an option. Will more tours be added to those days?
