A bit of a disappointment. The bar had Alan Jackson's name on it but the bar was just like the 20 other bars on Broadway. No souvenirs and you couldn't buy his name brand whiskey there.

Stopped at Ajs for a beer whilst in Nashville. There are so many places on Broadway that it is hard to choose, but to be honest, AJs just didn't grab me! Beers are $2 cheaper across the road at Laylas, beer is just as cold, staff are friendly, music is good,

Best bar on the strip by far! Kendra was such a great host and made my 50th birthday super special! Best atmosphere for music and drinks along the strip in our opinion.

On this visit this was our favourite bar and we stopped in every night.
The performers were all excellent and stuck to what I would call real country music, ie Alan Jackson, Garth, Toby, George Strait etc.
Very friendly, good temperature - some places were way too cold with their AC

I’m a massive Alan Jackson fan and on a recent US road trip we planned a few days in Nashville. I spent a solid 3 days at AJs from open to close and it did not disappoint. The live music was excellent, the staff were friendly and the drinks were cold. I loved this place.

I'm a Regular Visitor 2 Nashville. I know a lot of BANDS in general. When I go I make my list what bars I want 2 go and times. But this BAR AJ'S has a PROBLEM posting the bands on there Calander website. So when I come 2 Nashville next Friday I WON'T go to AJ'S. And in May when I go again . It's April 5th and still no Band Schedule for the month of April. This isn't the 1st time this has happen. Legend's, The Stage, Second Fiddle has there Schedule out. And Always have it POSTED by the 1st of the month.

We were in Nashville for my sister in law's 40th birthday. She has friends that now live in Nashville and they met us for drinks. They suggested Alan Jackson's bar (even though it was already on my list of must sees) and said many locals go there. It was my favorite bar of them all along Broadway. It was 4 levels and the music was fabulous on each level. The top level has an outside seating area that was so much fun. We also had a ball with the photo booth on the 3rd floor! on our next trip to Nashville, Aj's will be our first stop!

We visited downtown Nashville in March 2024 and AJ's Good Time Bar is my favorite bar on Broadway. It's a low-key bar and we enjoyed the acoustic shows during the day. I would definitely come here again. The bartenders were friendly and the music was great.

The place was packed but the staff took really good care of us. Every level had great entertainment but the top floor is the best because you can look out over the crowd below. Fun time!

Is the building safe/accessible to disabled people, who can’t manage stairs, and does the rooftop lounge get really noisy during the week?

There is an elevator, so stairs are not an issue.

Where are you staying? If you are near broadway, keep your car parked and Uber. If you are out of downtown area then there are parking lots on 4th and 5th streets. I can get more specific when I understand where you are staying

Most bars downtown Nashville will let children in until 6 p.m. AJ's is that way also.

Not a restaurant but I think they had some snacks. There's a BBQ restaurant a couple doors down from aj's and there's another BBQ restaurant across the street.
