We had so much fun! My kids are young adults so they knew majority of the artist. I had a dance off with my son. A rap battle with my daughter. Loved the intro. Very educational. Must do

The NMAAM is phenomenal! The entire experience is almost overwhelming. Just walking in and seeing One Nation Under A Groove painted on a wall made me teary eyed.
I visited the museum during the Juneteenth weekend and it was very crowded and seemed alive with excitement! There was a DJ spinning in the lobby and live performers in many of the exhibit halls. The different genres of music were all very well curated and filled with interesting memorabilia. The museum offers the opportunity to sing along with some of the biggest hits in recording booths or rap to the crowds.
The logo for the museum is a mixing board and that insignia is found everywhere and is so cool!

Beautiful new museum with tons of interactive experiences throughout, such as crafting playlists of artists touched on in exhibits, and creating songs. My friend and I even got to do a rap battle. If you plan to experience everything and not just walk through, plan to be here a couple hours.
A note that bags are not allowed inside, but there are lockers they offer for free to store your belongings in. Restrooms are large and clean. Small gift shop as well.

Definite must-see in Nashville! Not your typical somber experience, but chock full of reverence and awe. Wonderful tribute to the AA history of American music.

This was an awesome interactive experience! Great for all ages. So much history and explanation in the video! The activities were really kool! A MUST do in Nashville.

The museum was awesome. I could have stayed in there for hours just listening to all the great music. I really like how they started with a different genres music and laid out all of the artist during that time frame. It was amazing I would definitely make a return visit the next time I'm in Nashville.

We were not sure about spending the time and money, however, we were pleasantly surprised how informative and extensive the history was presented. The presentation was engaging and thorough. Best part was our ability to create a playlist of music from the various artists that are highlighted. My husband and I highly recommend it to all lovers of music.

This is one of the best, if not the best, museum I have ever been to. The information about the history of music is extensive - with a brilliant mix of short informative videos, written information, displays of instruments, record, pictures and interactive displays- alongside the most brilliant catalogue of songs to listen to from a wide variety of artists. Just loved it.
