I try to go see all the world's largest items across the US, and this is yet another one. There isn't much to do here except snap some pictures. It is pretty cool though and the area is very nice. Take some time to read all the information boards.

It is what it is: a photo opportunity with a big knife. We were here on Thanksgiving Day 2021 and the park was all ours. This attraction could use a couple picnic tables for the tourists to have their lunches.

The knife is a short detour off the main highway and you can get there within about 5 minutes. There is a parking lot right there with ample space. The knife is pretty cool and there is a an infographic explaining the history of the monument.

The "World's Larges Bowie Knife" is a nice little roadside attraction with the family as we passed through Bowie, TX. It is right on the main road going through town. There is a large grassy area where one could have a picnic, if desired - but no tables or shade covering in the immediate area.

If you love roadside attractions, then you should not miss this one!! They have a lovely area set aside with great documentation for this knife. You can take a great selfie and enjoy the nod to Mr Bowie’s great knife!! Parking is super easy so no reason not to stop!! Location is handicapped accessible!!

We were approaching Bowie from the south and discovered this huge knife as we entered town. What a great surprise! This knife is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest Bowie knife.
What I do not know is if this knife is like Excalibur. If a person can pull it from the mount, do they become the King of Texas?

Went to Bowie for trade days but had to stop and see the knife i had heard about. Surrounding it is the complete story of this enlargement of jim Bowie's famous knife! A must stop and see for all passing though.

It's literally what it's called..the world's largest Bowie Knife, next to a state highway. Ample parking is available and there are plenty of selfie opportunities here.

Apparently not any connection to "James Bowie" or the original "Bowie Knife" - actually a railroad employee named "Buie" according to the Chamber website. Not much to see or do otherwise - but quick to get in/out.
