Such a fun environment for kids and adults! Our 5 year old had so much fun exploring and learning about all kinds of cool stuff. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. We spent about 3 hours in the museum but we didn’t do the Pixar exhibit. We will do that next trip!

This is a very family friendly museum. It was crowded and had lots of children. It is very casual in terms of dress-code, as many exhibits are interactive. I'd suggest going at a time when there are smaller crowds to be able to enjoy the contents of the museum. The big crowds make the experience feel rushed.

For a private museum, it was great. For little children, they have a fun play area. Things to climb on & hands on exhibits. They have it set for exploring the top floor & moving down. Not as large as a public museum but extensive for what they had.

The exhibits are well-designed and offer lots of interesting information about each item. I like how the museum is organized into related topics on each floor. There are lots of hands-on things for the kids to do, however there were long lines for several of the more interesting ones even on a Tuesday morning. We will definitely return the next time we are in Dallas.

I've driven by this museum many times & always wanted to visit. It was such a let down. More enjoyable for little kids I guess? There were kids EVERYWHERE and it was complete chaos. I hated it. My daughter didn't like it and she loves museums. Will not be back.

We did the Dallas pass and this museum had so much to do. i have 3 kids ages 4,5, & 8. The kids didn't get to experience it all due to time and attention spans lol. We watched all the movies which I thought they would enjoy but it was a bit of a pain to go all the way through the museum then back to the entrance for our movie time slot each time as the movies times were spread out. The Oceans movie is the best one that they enjoyed, the dinosaurs was more for older kids. There were several floors of the museum and it was very busy when we went on a saturday morning.

I loved it however the prices are out of control. Great attraction in the DFW area. PLace was clean and the emplyees are very knowlegable

Didn’t enjoy this really, normally love the interactive displays (these were overrun with children). The displays on the first two floors I found somewhat dull. Also I think it is very overpriced for what it is. Wouldn’t do unless you have the city pass. Wouldn’t go to again

Terrible experience from the beginning. Parking is awful and very confusing. You need an app to pay for parking but the app wouldn’t work, so then you have to get in a very long line to try and pay. The museum gives you a time frame to arrive but it’s pointless because everyone who arrived before you is still there. It was so crowded I couldn’t navigate with my wheelchair to see any of the exhibits. People walk right in front of me like I can side step in a wheelchair. It took 20 minutes to get on an elevator that had enough room for my chair because of the crowds and people cutting in front of me. So many people could have used the stairs but didn’t. The bathrooms were so crowded I couldn’t get in with my chair. Granted it was spring break week and I expected crowds but didn’t expect it would be so crowded that even able bodied people couldn’t get close enough to see the exhibits. We gave up after two hours and left. If there had been a need for evacuation I’m sure there would have been many people hurt or trapped.

Had an awesome Sunday with kids, very entertaining but let the young one play ... omg !! saw many kids waiting in line at all the attractions b/c adults were playing, other than that price was good, the lab with kids wearing coats and using microscope was phenomenal, parking a challenge ... well is Dallas what else you can expect

Has anyone been here since it’s reopened with covid regulations? Also wondering how many hours you would plan? We have limited availability on our trip and them only being open weekends makes it difficult.

Perot does have paid parking, but for a lower rate, park on the other side of the freeway under the bridge. You have to walk a short distance but the parking rate is much better.

Is it possible to walk from the Perot Science Center to the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza or would we need to take a bus? I have never been to Dallas so I am unfamiliar with the downtown area.

Yes you can walk easily to your destination. I think walking allows you to notice the flavor of Dallas.

If they love dinosaurs then I would definitely do it. If they are not that into dinosaurs then don't. There is a lot to do and see there whether you see the dinosaurs or not.

I have not seen the exhibit. Am always up for more dinos with kids that age. Hopefully someone can answer that has seen the exhibit!

Hola Liliana, lastimosamente miestras entuve en TX no me quedo tiempo de ir al de Houston, pero te aseguro que no te arrependiras de ir al de Dallas. Ve muy comoda por que se camina mucho en sus 5 niveles.

Depends on what you are interested in. We spent 4hrs there but went to a movie too..I found the exhibition on birds very interesting and could have spent more time there. If you don't want to do interactive activities it will take considerably less time. if you are not much interested in particular ares you ca skip them. Ask yousrelf why you are going. Is it worthwhile just to run through?
