I called to confirm a reservation I made in February of 2018 for cruise in July of 2018 for a family of 16. A Verizon help desk person answered the phone. Ah...oh oh!! In short, they had gone out of business and taken my $600 along with them. I was very lucky though, my credit card company reimbursed me the $600. I got a wonderful transportation company by the name of Galveston express to do the job for us with one day notice. They were fantastic.

We were left stranded at Bush International, Houston airport. They never called and they never showed up to take us to Galveston to board our ship. We were told by a very nice woman at the airport, who asked us who we were waiting for. When we told her, Cruise Connections she said that in the last couple months and the most recent, two weeks ago, they never showed up for the families, some with small children, not to mention us, on June 24th. We were sick and immediately began calling. The number they gave us on our confirmation (409-497-2237), was not Cruise Connections, it was for Verizon National payment center. We went on the website and it was the same number, some of the websites said they were out of business. This is when we realized we had been scammed. People please do your homework and research read reviews/comments of past customers. One negative review is more then enough for me. I wish we would have checked this out before booking with them. We lost our money but thank God we were able to get transportation in time.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Waiting at airport for shuttle and NO ONE called or told us they weren't coming.

We booked this shuttle service on May 21, 2018 for a transfer from Hobby airport to Galveston cruise terminal. When we arrived in Houston we called the company to verify pickup. The call went directly to voicemail and the box was full. We waited about 30 minutes past our pickup time and called and emailed the company MANY times to no avail. We had to go back into the airport and luckily schedule with another company. They (Super Shuttle) arrived in 15 minutes and we were on our way. We received no shuttle and they got their money. Like Karen R we disputed the charge with our CC company.

Cruise Connection is closed permanently according to Google. You can't get to their webpage, contact them by phone or email.
The owners don't reply on Facebook either.
So we contacted our Credit Card company to disbute this charge.

We used Cruise Connection for a party of 7 + baby the last week of February. We found their charges reasonable and their service great. On the day we flew into Hobby airport our flight was 30 minutes late arriving to the airport. As soon as we landed we called just to verify that we still wanted the shuttle and were informed there was no problem. When we got out to the pick up area the shuttle was exactly where they said it would be. They knew that the flight was late and had no problem waiting for us. After our cruise we were to be picked up at 10am, but we went through customs so quickly that we ended up outside the cruise terminal early, so we called and they were able to pick us up a few minutes early. During our cruise one of our family members had run low on diapers for her 6 month old baby. We asked if we could stop by the store and grab some prior to getting to the airport........our driver said no problem and then waited for 10 minutes for us to run in a grab them! Wonderful service! Will use this service next time we fly into Houston. Thanks for making our transfers so easy and stress free!

Looked around cruise boards and didn't see much on this company, but for $22/pp from Hobby to Galveston cruise pier or hotels thought we would try them. Picked up in the limo area of the airport with large van and a trailer. Dropped us off in front of Harbor House Hotel. We were the only passengers in the van (midweek). Great clean van, careful driver and exact on-time service. Can't get better than this.

having used cruise connection 3 times in the past 14 months, have all been uneventful
on time each time.. As you have several times to pick from upon arrival at Hobby and departure from the Cruise ships in Galveston. i have arrived the same day and have had early flt times 1045am of departure, (that was today) and got to the SW air curb check before 930am. Picking your times mean YOU must be on time also..so feel assured of timely service at least by my experiences..

I would avoid using Cruise Connection at all costs. I made a reservation in October 2017 for a cruise in January 2018 and had to cancel the reservation with Cruise Connection as our flight was changed by the airline. I was promised (in an email) I would receive a refund but never have. I have emailed the company a couple of times inquiring about it but have received no response at all. Our cruise was delayed returning to Galveston due to fog and we received the big 'too bad for you' message from Cruise Connection and we ended up losing that reservation too. I should have headed all the poor reviews I read online but thought I would save a few dollars. IT WASN'T WORTH IT! I did end up using Galveston Express and was very pleased with their timeliness and service.

We used Cruise Connection to go from the Hobby Airport to the Galveston Cruise Port. We arrived early ( our flight was early ) so we called to tell them. They said it would be 1/2 hour which was basically our scheduled pickup time. It was me and my husband and a large family of 7 also riding with us. A full van! They had a trailer that they pull behind for our luggage. The ride is slightly less than an hour.
On the arrival back from our cruise, we again were early. I checked periodically to see if they were in the pickup area. He arrived about 7:55 for our 8:15 scheduled pickup. This time it was just me and my husband. We put the luggage in the trailer and we were off. Everything went really well. Reasonable prices too!

Please do yourself a favor and find another company if you're looking for transportation in Galveston. The owner, Alan, is quite rude if any problems arise and they're not his fault. We used a different company on our return trip for the cruise, and they were wonderful! Stay away!

If the problem isn't my fault, why are you writing a 1 star review? We have moved over 10000 people this year. We wish everyone would write a review. Sorry you had problems. But I can't correct the problem if you don't say what the problem is.

We only serve Houston and Galveston TX.
I am staying at the Beachcombers Inn and need a ride to the Carnival Cruise terminal on Sat. Oct. 29. How much for the 4.5 mi. trip?

Due to a high Tax charged to us by the port every time our vehicle enters the port facility we were forced to stop providing local hotel to cruise port service. We DO still operate airport shuttles to and from the port of Galveston. Your only options are a Taxi or a new ride share company called Get Me. We apologize for the inconvenience.
