I have a library card and the this location is outstanding! The staff is helpful and nice!!! Very well kept up. and also, loads of events for family and children.

We always plan a visit to the Rosenberg Library whenever we visit Galveston. It is a quiet place to sit and read a book to decompress from a long drive. The architecture is beautiful. We enjoy just walking around and always find a new nook we haven't seen before. The librarians are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I had looked forward to visiting the Rosenberg Library's History Museum. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the Museum we were informed that only the ground floor was open and that the remaining floors - where the museum exhibits are found - were under renovation. The library is named for Swiss-born Henry Rosenberg, who gave the money for its creation.

I wish I was a local so I could have a library card here! This library is a fun spot to look around in to escape the heat. The museum was closed when we visited which was unfortunate. As a teacher, the children and young adult section was fantastic!!

State of the art computer peripherals: we travel a lot and sometimes we need to print, sign, and scan contracts; it all functioned flawlessly, easily, intuitively. And when we needed help, the staff was warm, friendly, and professional.

Great place, we went in and used computers in the lab. Staff was wicked nice. Bathrooms are clean.
They offer copying and printing for a small fee. Free parking on Sealy St or out back.

The museum is really cool and they have quite a collection of materials in the libray. I was impressed with this one.

Walk thru the doors to find a friendly staff ready to assist in discovering your interests. A library card opens the world to everyone. Educational talks, free access to books, a variety of movies to view at home. Local funding keeps this historical building available in supporting our community. Lets thank proir generations for their forward thinking ways- they donated funds to establilsh this fine landmark in Galveston. A library worth exploring.

This library has all you would expect from a library with several additions! The section that is the original Rosenberg Library, has several rooms for quiet reflection, reading or computing. Allow time to enjoy the restored wood and wood carved decorations. A few display cases are also available. The Art Gallery was closed for renovations but will be open again soon.

Best Small Library - it's like a small museum, and it's free! I'm not even a book lover, but there is so much else here.
