I stopped by this gem not far from the Gaylord. There were only a few cars in the parking lot during my visit which meant I could enjoy it even more.
I enjoyed a peaceful morning walk on a bright and sunny day along a paved sidewalk throughout the beautifully landscaped garden. A prominent sculpture greets you at the entrance. There is bench seating throughout. Children can enjoy the playground as well.

I recommend this park to enjoy the great outdoors.

Today's experience was a bust

Bring it back to its former glory!

Today I had the worst experience ever at the botanical gardens in Grapevine. I haven't been here in a couple months but I used to visit weekly. Now, my dogs can't have a sip of water from the running water because there are chains stating "do not enter" On top of that there are areas marked "DANGER, Do Not Enter" but I have walked every square foot of that place and i know there's nothing dangerous beyond those signs. Furthermore, I understand areas reserved for pollination and I've never entered areas reserved for the volunteers or too close to the bees area for obvious reasons.
In sum, it was like walking inside the museum museum. And if I want to go to a museum I can certainly drive to one.

My hard earned money going to waste because the grounds are not even kept up as they were even during the pandemic.

When you need a place to clear your mind, the Botanical Gardens is just the spot. We live within walking distance, and frequent on a regular basis. Continuous improvement is obvious if you visit regularly. Love the Coy in the big ponds and the seasonal flowers. Make sure to check out the wonderful Butterfly sculpture.

Butterfly Festival

I attending the butterfly festival at the Botanical Gardens and it was very cute. Great for small children. They do a parade and the kids then get butterflies that they count down and release into the air while everyone holds watermelon on a stick. There are crafts to do. There is an educational display of the different types of butterflies. They do multiple butterfly releases so do not feel like you have to be there for the first one. If there are enough butterflies left at the last release then they let adults have a butterfly as well. The Garden itself is beautiful. Definitely worth exploring just to enjoy some nature. A water fountain, benches, and a covered area. Some steps and uneven walkways to note for anyone that need flat surfaces.

Beautiful Gardens, even in the heat!

This was an awesome garden - in spite of the heat - it was an extremely hot day - there was plenty of shade. You've got to plan for 2-3 hours, as they said, because there is one way in and one way out. Take water! It was beautiful.

My Wife and spent a couple of hours enjoying the natural beauty of this charming park. The park is not large, but it is very well maintained. The flowers and the ponds are beautiful with many different flowers and plants and huge fish in the streams. It is also a wonderful place for a photo shoot

The time on Trip Advisor was allow 1-2 hours, we were there maybe 15 minutes and that was because the squirrels were entertaining. It is a quick walk through. The building wasn't open so not sure what is in there exhibit wise.

BEAUTIFUL space in the city of Grapevine. Perfectly maintained and constantly changing with the seasons. Our twin granddaughters love the plants, trees and mostly the squirrels (LOL ... they are two years old ... Smile). Thanks to the entire staff for keeping the gardens immaculate!

What a sad little place this was today. It could be so much better if care was taken. The winding paths are nice, wandering over little bridges, but the lack is in the foliage , there isnt much. I did see a clump of Pansys struggling to look pretty in a poorly kept patch of garden... if you look very close you might see a name plate here and there,
If some regional flowers were planted, such as Daffodils and Tulips, it would bring the park to life. Right now. All I saw was a dowdy couple of acres. With no flowering bushes or any Spring flowers showing anywhere.
By the way it’s FREE...

My favorite place for a peaceful walk and pictures

Don't miss walking through the Botanical Garden. You'll enjoy looking at all the native Texas plants, and the Coy Pond. I love walking my dog there and also watching couple have their wedding picture taken. Since Covid they have not been hosting concerts, which I miss and understand.
