Bonita catedral, una visita que merece la pena, es gratis , se encuentra muy bien situada, muy cerca dl centro. Por fuera tal vez no diga mucho, pero se trata de otro típo de construcción. a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver.

Mal trato del personal de la catedral ,esperamos a que acabase la misa para poder visitarla,y una vez, dentro y al llegar a una zona que no permitía visitas nos lo hicieron ver a empujones y en voz muy alta , por parte de una mujer de allí. Me parece muy poco ético y mucho menos en una iglesia ese comportamiento

Por fuera llama la atención, pero el Interior es muy sobrio, sin apenas obras de arte ni capillas.
Lo que más me gustó las rejas.
Ahora mismo no se visita la girola, ni el claustro ni la torre.
Además no hay horario de visita, hay que andar pendiente de los horarios de misa para echar un vistazo rápido.

An historic anomaly makes this cathedral a Magisterial, requiring all of its canons to be masters of the University of Alcala. It has only one counterpart, in Louvain, Belgium. It was built over the site where saints Justo and Pastor were martyred in 305. Late Gothic architecture, from the exterior the structure looks heavy. Its interior is rather dark as the side windows are rather small, its overall effect rather somber.

Muy austera tanto interior como exterior, creo que como en muchos otros lugares la excusa del COVID hace suspender la visita turistica, realmente se puede entrar hasta el presbítero pero no en la girola, será que el virus tendrá predilección por ciertos lugares, ni torre ni museo pues nada eclipsada ante una ciudad monumental

This is a cathedral from the Renaissance, so it is very austere in comparison with the Gothic cathedrals. It has nice chapels with different images of Jesus, Mary and the saints. The statue in the outside is dedicated to Cardinal Cisneros and the two martyrs from the 5th century: Justo and Pastor
