She tells you to turn your camera on and says you will see a green orb but really it’s a reflection off of all the street lights. She insinuates that a doctor is responsible for missing or dead babies and follows that with “ i don’t know much about him but this is all you need to know.” Pointing to upside down crosses on pillars embellished around the home. I know it fits your narrative lady but the upside down cross was a Christian symbol originally from saint peter you know… the person that doctor’s practice is named after.
But Hey but she got a microphone 🎤 soo that’s good but she turned it off half way through.

WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE!!! Crowd not limited, 200+, terrible acoustics, terrible spotlight used. Too expensive, ($20), guide told some fun stories, but overall was not a good experience and would not recommend. I would suggest the people running the show, invest some of the well over $4000 made last night (8/6/22), in better quality speaker system, better spotlight for pointing out things, better yet, limit your crowd size! The guide told us repeatedly how many hours of research she had put Into learning of these stories, but being able to hear her was very spotty at best. Could be a fun event, if group size was limited, and you could actually hear the guide share her knowledge. You DO NOT get the opportunity to see inside the Hotel. To do that, there are videos online that are well worth your viewing time.

If there is a Big Group of people - run away

This is my third ghost tour. My others were in Savannah, Ga and St. Augustine, Fl. My first red flag should of been that there was no sign up early. We had contacted the business, and they assured us they would not sell out. Well come to find out, they don't limit the size of the group. We showed up, and there was ALOT of people there. But I just assumed they would break up us into groups, and the speakers would take us out. Not the case, there was well over 200 people there and ONE speaker. She was hard to hear, and her answer was to get closer. We went in August, and that day had been 100 degrees and at 9 pm it was 93 out. The last thing you want to do is get closer to people. It was a lot of being herded like cattle, stop, try to listen what she had to say, and Herd again. My previous experience had been a group of 25 or so, and the speaker talks the whole time while you are walking and stopping. Word or warning, if there is a big group of people there, just skip it. We bailed out after the first hour, it just wasn't fun. Waste of money.

A Great History Tour

This was a good tour of the history. Its a walking tour and you learn some really interesting history of the town and what life was like. You do not go into the Bake Hotel, you learn the history about it. Lots of early town history before the hotel also from its founding to the hangings. Its a 10 block walk one way, you still have to walk back so that total 20 blocks.

Not worth it at all

If the tour guides had access to letting everyone tour the inside then it would be worth it. I was there on my own time when a tour was happening and saw everything you see on the tour for free. The tour is a scam or side business for someone needing money DO NOT waste your money on something you could do for free.
Also the hotel is being renovated and opens either late next year or in 2022. All entrances are blocked off besides a few holes in the windows you can look into.
What was a historic ghost filled/haunted hotel has turned into the least most haunted thing I’ve ever seen.
The only thing that caught my eye was that every other room in this place was dark besides the very top the at pretty much the roof one light was on.

Didn't take the tour but this is a cool old hotel. Was abandoned for years but now some investors are renovating it. Very odd to come upon such a large hotel in such a small town. Interesting history. Definitely stop by if you drive through Mineral Wells.

Its a big scam they charge $25 to walk u around the streets dont even go inside do not come here dont waste your money here not worth it u can walk around for free and take pics

This is a lot of fun for family outing or a date night. I was raised here and every time I go back to Mineral Wells and do her tour, I learn new history. It’s great for couples wanting to stroll downtown. The hostess is very sweet! I will go again . Well worth the price and it’s not scary at all. So it’s great for kids.

Crap for the price and distance

Not good. The crowd was enormous and Angela was difficult to hear. The pricy for kids should have been free to at least 10 due to the info not being very interesting to smaller children. Just way over priced and far as hell for what we got. I would not recommend it.
