We've stayed in Cedron Creek Park several times and always have a good time. You can pick you site so you can decide if you'd rather be back in the trees or out in the open. Most of the sites are situated on the Cedron Creek arm of Lake Whitney and easily accessible for canoes or kayaks. There's also a boat ramp if you have a power boat and you can swim just about anywhere in the park. There are 30 and 50 amp sites so they are accessible by all size RVs or tent campers. The only issue we've run into is some of the sites need to be trimmed because the limbs of trees are encroaching on the parking space if you have a tall RV.

Cedron Creek Park is a beautiful Corps of Engineers Park on Lake Whitney. They have 45 spacious RV sites, 11 have 50A electric with water. Central dump station. Some sites have great lake views and access. Clear water for swimming. We've been here many times and will return.

My brother actually got married here. It is a beautiful place and fun as well. There are many places to ride bikes, a playground for the kids, and plenty of places to go fishing. It was a blast for the wedding and every year we go back to celebrate their anniversary. Great for families who love to camp.

We reserved a spot, but requested to move to one of the "non-reserve" sites after arrival. They happily accommodated. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The grounds & deer are beautiful. Some areas do need to be mowed, some have stickers & some have more shade than others, but overall a great place to stay.

One of the best camping sites we have experienced. Next time we go we are going to be sure to take corn to feed the deer there were 30 or more deer coming up to the camp sites to feed the kids and adults really enjoyed that . The view of lake Whitney and the bridge are nice at sun down. The swimming area was clean. The restrooms are your typical camping restrooms nothing fancy they did keep them clean both times we were there. This is defiantly a place we will continue to visit yearly the staff is nice and friendly no problems.
