is the unique Ruby Lane Bookstore. Rosa Latimer, owner and author of the 'Harvey House' series, offers an unforgettable experience. Her shop is filled with popular Texas publications and original artisan displays. As the public librarian, I can depend on Rosa (and Ruby..meow) to keep me up to date with my Texas collection. Give yourself plenty of time to savor the welcoming atmosphere while you peruse the shop.

Visit Ruby Lane Bookstore for art, history, books and local crafts. Enjoy author/ owner Rosa Larimer and her Harvey Girls Series. Don't forget to give mascot Ruby the Cat a pet on the way out!!

Loved the eclectic selection of books, and artwork, and incredibly cool architecture. Anytime we're in Post we stop by. Owner Rosa Latimer is an accomplished author in her own right.

My first impression when I walked through the door was - this is what a book store should be. Ruby Lane Books is filled with Texas authors and Texas books. There are others, of course, and a children's section in the back, along with a cat that keeps silent unless she likes you. This is a definite go to place.

A great place to visit when passing through or just shopping in town. From the new books, including Rosa Latimer's books on the Harvey houses of Texas and New Mexico, to the artists showcased in the gallery, Ruby Lane Books is worth a stop.
Housed in one of the beautiful buildings on Main Street, it is a gathering place for friends and travellers. Ruby the cat may greet you and Rosa is always ready with a friendly, Hi, how can I help you?

What a unique and charming place! I have stopped by many times to check out the interesting selection of books and art, and to pet Ruby the store cat. I highly recommend taking the time to go to Ruby Lane Books if you're making a trip to Post, or just passing through.

Ruby Lane Books is a wonderful place to visit when you are in Post. From the moment the front door opens, there are books displayed of all varieties. There is always an art display to enjoy (and purchase!) Best of all, there are two charming ladies who welcome every visitor, Rosa Latimer and Ruby, the Siamese cat. Be sure to check out Rosa's two books, "Harvey Houses of Texas" and "Harvey Houses of New Mexico." They are fascinating!

I know bookstores are not as popular as they once were, but you should do yourself a favor and visit this wonderful place in Post, TX.
Yes I admit almost everything I read today is in digital format, but I still thoroughly enjoy visiting this marvelous place. From the interesting decor to the resident cat to the delightful and multitalented Rosa Latimer, the place exudes charm and prides the curious.
Part of the draw of this small Main Street shop is the changing gallery that spotlights talented artists and writers. More than likely you will have the opportunity to meet authors or artists or interesting people from all over the country.
Ruby Lane is the place you can go to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. Browse the photos, paintings or sculptures or simply browse the eclectic selection of reading material; you will not be disappointed.
