Typical small town bar scene. The ventilation was horrible, the smoke made the room hazy. We stayed outside, watched baseball, but then a group came out that was so loud it was ridiculous. They were having fun, I get it, but it became annoying the longer we stayed and the more they were drinking.
People seemed to know everyone and watched out for each other, that was refreshing.

Hey Stephenville bar with a good local feel

When visiting Stephenville, if you're looking for a place to relax, this is a great sports bar to go to. They offer a full bar as well as complementary peanuts and popcorn. If you don't mind smoking, I am also about that as well. They have TVs and pool tables and plenty of good conversation.

Sports Bar

For a sports bar, it is exactly what you get. If you do not like smoke, you have to expect to have some. Food was Ok, I just did not find anything on the menu that I prefer except the typical bar food.

not worth your time

I came to this place because it was right around the corner from my hotel. I came in in the early afternoon and there was 2 people playing pool, and I was the only person up at the bar. The blond bartender slowly made her way over and said nothing to me other than what would you like. She didn't smile, introduce herself, actually, was very zombie like and acted like she didn't want to be there. I got me a beer and then she made her way over to the end of the bar and started talking to this girl that came out of the back. After a while a few more people came in you could tell who she knew and who she didn't. She smiled and flirted with the ones she knew, and she poured them stiff drinks. The ones she didn't know, she was very stoic and poured maybe a half an ounce of liquor in their drinks and just plopped down in front of them and just walked off. This blond college girl needs a few classes on service and how to treat people. I can honestly say that I will never darken the doors at this place again.
