The scenery is nice and the lake is attractive too. However, no time to walk around. If you've time, do go for a walk and share.

Holy crap. FInally found this lake coming in from the Hell's Backbone Road vs the Power Line Road which caused us to hike 3 miles in and out without finding it. Once found, beautiful spot. Did not make it all the way in by 4WD. Float tube would be beneficial.

If you like mountain hiking in the aspen and sagebrush, if you love Boulder Mountain this is for you! It is remote and the solitude is amazing. There is technically a road but even atv's have trouble making it. Fall is spectacular

ok I did this hike mebbe 20 times, it is absolutely magical , I would rate it 5 stars, the hike is easy , and gorgeous , nearly every time i hiked it there were bears on the lake , not to worry no one has ever been eaten, lol, great place to picnic and since you cant drive there it remains pristine
