I had two extraordinary experiences just days apart, rappelling and rock climbing. Both were thrilling and so much fun! For sure the highlight of my trip!
Seth was my guide for both. He was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. And he was patient, encouraging, and made me feel safe. Thank you for the experience.

This was an amazing experience! We visited here with our daughter 19 and son 16. Noah was our guide and was so knowledgeable and laidback. He quickly eased our fears and we had such a fun time! The hike and rock climbing were definitely not for the faint of heart. The canyoneering was thrilling to say the least. Definitely recommend this company and Noah for a guide!

My daughter had one request, to zipline across a canyon. That's exactly what we did! Zip lining is a new adventure offered by Southern Utah Guiding. It actually was not yet listed as being offered on their website. I called just to ask because I could not find another company that could accommodate our schedule. Seth was easy to work with. We live in Ohio and were able to arrange everything via phone and email. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not ideal the morning we were set to go. Seth was very flexible though and we pushed back the adventure a couple of hours. By then the weather was much more cooperative. My 14 year old daughter loved it! Great introduction to repelling too. Appreciated that we were not in a big group, it was just us. Seth and his assistant Aaron shared info about the geological history of the area as well as the vegetation and animal life that reside in the canyons. Thank you Seth and Aaron. This was the highlight of our trip!

I did a canyoneering hike with Todd and it was the coolest thing I’ve ever done. Right off the bat, Todd knew all there is to know about every geological event that has occurred going through Snow Canyon. He was incredibly patient with me during the hike and explained all the mechanics of rappelling in a way that made me less afraid. Todd was the best and I recommend him for every outdoor trip.

We, a party of two, had a full day Canyoneering with Seth at Water Canyon in Hildale, UT. It turned out this is one of the best canyon hiking and rappelling in the Fall. Seth made us feel easy and overcome our nerves when lowering us into the canyon bottoms with the one of them at 175 feet deepest. Low water level is more comport in the Falls with only a few spots with water ponds that can be avoidable. He was calm and knowledgeable with his excellence skill.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Seth. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took us to a great off-the-beaten-path area, and was so encouraging. It’s easy to see his passion for nature, Utah’s wilderness and climbing. He confidence was contagious, and with his encouragement we were able to push ourselves and have a great experience. I get the sense that he tailors the experience to each groups abilities, and does so without you even really knowing it. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Seth took our family of 4 (2 keen, 1 not sure and 1 about to bail out) for our first experience of canyoneering. Seth was patient with us and gave everyone enough confidence to give it a go. We did 4 rappells and everyone agreed that this was the best bit.Great experience and would highly recommend Seth.

What a great guide and operation. We came with a group from Red Mountain Resort. My friend and I (both of us not young) were both excited and very scared but took on the challenge to go rappelling. (The other 3 women in the group were millennial marathon running very brave gymnasts- who took to it like fish to water.) Todd and Seth had a great mix of laid back and very competent and in control. Todd was clear with his explanations, very patient and very supportive...and we did it! Perhaps with less grace, but it we were very proud of ourselves at the end.
Seth was there at the bottom to 'guide you in' and took some great pics from down below for me. Go for it! Note- when you down 30, 50 or 80 feet- there's no elevator back up. Be prepared!

Seth le patron est remarquable. Adaptable, réactif , il anticipe tous les détails pour faire réussir la sortie que vous choisirez. Il connaît des canyons peu visités ou vous vivrez des moments inoubliables, que ce soit en canyonering, rappelling ou ebike. C’est le meilleur de la région !

it takes a patient and good guide to help two women over 60 rappel. he got us through two descents and more worrisome through two climbs back up the rock. excellent instruction, safe equipment. we got back to the hotel and recommended the event to everyone

Do you need previous experience to take the rappeling tour
No experience necessary. You will learn all the basic skills of rappelling during the trip. Rappelling is then the first skill to learn for other activities such as canyoneering and rock climbing. Thanks for the interest. Cheers
