I️ do not recommend this ride or place. This ride was suppose to be an hour wait. It ended being being over three hours in total. Two hours were at at the bottom alone. They were under staffed. The staff also lied, there was also a line at the top and we were told there wasn’t. Once at the top we had to pull our own sled, we were not informed about this. The place is overpriced.

This was so much fun! We did both the slide and the coaster here and had an absolute BLAST. Not only was it a gorgeous mountainside w/lots of natural beauty, but the rides themself were thrilling. Total adrenaline rush, and the slide is particularly special because you get to ride the lift for a few minutes to get there (the slide entrance is halfway up the mountain) and you can control your own speed and go as fast or slow as you need to based on your own comfort. I went pretty fast (probably faster than I should) and LOVED every minute!
Tips: 1) Check your weather before you go (we were rained out the first day we drove there to do it, and there had been no rain warnings the day prior). 2) Fanny packs are allowed on this one (unlike the coaster) - I’m fairly sure we could have pulled out our GoPro for this one also (if we hadn’t left it behind). 3) The people manning the lift didn't give us any directions/help, so if you encounter the same, just expect that once you get off the lift, you'll take a left, grab a yellow "sled," and wheel it over to the entrance (which is down a paved path). 4) It doesn’t take long, so I recommend bundling multiple things to really maximize your time there (like the coaster/slide combo, which we did or the coaster/slide/zip line combo, which I wish we’d had time to do).

I did think this was Olympic Park, which I had identified prior to my visit. It isn't. But this activity we did not have to do a full day pass.
The Alpine Slide came up on my maps app when I was trying to find something to do in Park City. We got to the duo activity ticket, and picked the slide and the mountain coaster. You can also do the mountain bike (you have to be experienced), or the zip liner.
A lot of kids and parents were doing the slide. They scared me by telling me to slow down on the corners in case I flew off! But nobody told me HOW slow I needed to go and as a result probably went too slow. The family behind me caught up and got slowed up. To them--I'm sorry!
But the coaster was attached to the rail and had a seatbelt. So even though you can slow down, I kept it at full speed as they recommend. The ride was over faster, but more exhilirating. It does have a higher height limit, so your kids have to be at least 54" to do the coaster.

The alpine slide is fun, and the setting is beautiful. But I would definitely recommend the mountain coaster if you're looking for speed. We did both, and were happy that we started with the alpine slide first, because it probably would have been anticlimactic if we had done the mountain coaster first--it was much more of an adrenaline rush.

My three children had a blast on the Alpine slide. It’s not fun getting stuck behind someone much slower. Which would be one of my two negatives, along with how slow the lift went up the mountain. It was a 15-minute ride up the lift which seemed slower than it needed to be. It was still a great time and would highly recommend. None of my children got off without a smile.

If you like Alpine Slides you will love this one. They have 4 separate lanes (of course, no racing) and is one of the longest ones I have ever been one. The ski lift to the start is very slow because it is also used for the scenic lift tour. But that's ok, because it's like getting two rides in one :) It was not busy when we were there, so we actually got a run with noone in front of us. The staff at the top explain how to operate the sled and the rules. They also space people to allow you to get some speed until you catch the people before you (no bumping). Will have to bring the kids the next time! :)

If you choose the Alpine Slide as an activity then you get to use the ski lift as your way to get up there. So, while the line was long (it was a beautiful summer Saturday!) it was fun to do it once. The views on the way up were very pretty. Then you got to choose which run you wanted (like a toboggan run.) They stagger the starts so there is no racing.
There is definitely more risk involved in doing the slide as opposed to the coaster. No harness/restraint and if you don't take it seriously, things could go awry. Again, these rides are not the passive kind that you get at a theme park. Very fun.

Very disappointing. The staff did not know what time they closed or what time the last lift went up. One member would tell you one thing another would tell you another. Very frustrating! There had been some thunderstorms in the area and they closed the ride just as we walked up. One attendant said wait 30 minutes and if there is no more thunder lightning you can go up, the other one said no we’re closed. A lot of disappointed kids and family members visiting from out of town. We understand weather but the worst part was very rude, unknowledgeable and unfriendly staff. That includes the manager that day. I will take the family to Snowbird next time.

It's been a fun tradition for our family (now with the grandkids) that live in Utah to make the trip to Park City to eat Mexican Food at Baja Cantina after we ride the Alpine Slide and maybe some of the other rides they have now. However, at this point it's sad to say the prices are now just too much. Kind of ridiculous. We can only ride the slide and only once. It would be nice if there were discounts for Utah residents. It seems it's geared for the elite upper class patrons not middle class families. Too bad. So many good memories. Seems that's the story when the big corporations ( Vail) purchase properties.

It was totally horrible. I remember Alpine slide when I was a teenager, and getting multiple rides in a day, for a reasonable price. 2-3 hour wait, in the sun, not enough shade covers. 1 of the 4 tracks under construction. Insanely expensive. Just awful.
SKIP PARK CITY and go anywhere else.
We waited 3 hours ... and still got the last half of the ride ruined by some little kid who was toooooo young and toooooo scared to ride alone.
Totally wasted the time....
Never going back to Park City for that .... maybe try the Olympic Site close by.

We are having family come this next week and we want to bring them to PC for some fun. I see that adults are $17.00 but then it says $25.00 for the coster what is it and hey is it more? I don’t see anything that explains it. Can you?

Do you have group rated for the slide and coaster and a price for both. We have 30 teens and 10 leaders

I would recommend the potential savings is worth a call, getting the phone number by accessing the web site.

The web site does not appear to offer the Summer Pass online, only Day Passes. You can call (435) 649.8111 after 10 am for more information. The prices are less for kids 54" and under.
