VT RT 73 high point. Brandon Pass! The view to the west of the Adirondacks is breath taking!! Also several trail heads close to this summit! Beautiful

Our family hikes the trail often!
In the fall the colors of the Green Mountains are spectacular, hike is part of the Green Mtn trail, a little steep in part but take about 40min. Great hike for the family !!

We stopped here while hiking the Long Trail. After two days in the trees, this was a welcome treat! The walk up is strenuous and about a mile or less.

If you love beautiful country, please do yourself the favor of stopping and enjoying this view. Just the drive itself is thrilling enough, but to really view it safely a convenient turn out is available here along the highway.

This is a great hike! It's doable in a morning or an afternoon. It's very vertical but the pay off is huge. Kids and pets can manage it. I would recommend going mid-morning and bringing lunch to the top. It takes about an hour to hike up and the view is incredible! So glad we did it.

I've watched the sunset and moonrise on the full moon, early morning and midday hikes. This is a go to place for visitors!

It's only .6 of a mile in, but it's all uphill, so this is a real "hike"--though it requires no technical skills. The view from the cliffs is phenomenal--270 degrees around, a great reward for making it up. Best short hike in Vermont.

This is an easy to get to location with a short hike up to some great views from the cliffs. The hike itself is nice and short, around .6 miles, but there is about 600 feet elevation gain so you do need to work a bit to get there. Luckily the reward at the end is worth it!

This short hike is very strenuous - we climbed up ~650 ft all through rocks and stones and tree roots. The final section is almost vertical. But the view off the top is breathtaking - really worth the whole climb. And then the descent back. We are mid-aged generally fit hikers, but this climb was a real challenge for us. We made it within 1 hr with several stops, but got passed on the way up and down by some obviously more fit climbers - so it's the matter of personal fitness we guess :).
