My husband’s golf partner was not available. He invited me, basically a poor golfer, to spit for him. This was a breath taking 4 hour experience amid brilliant autumn foliage over rolling terrain and 18- challenging holes of golf. The big reward was a lovely lunch! Then a well deserved nap!!

We stayed at the Inn at Neshobe and had the wonderful opportunity to walk the vineyard and do a tasting during our stay. We bought 3 bottles to take home. Very tasty wine and cool labels. While you are there, do a tasting at their brewery as well. Great ambiance!!!

We stopped here recently to sample their wines. This winery is small and friendly. with no pretense; just good wines. The wood stove kept the rooms warm enough to enjoy the experience and the staff took time to show us all their different varieties. We purchased a few of our favorites.

Saw their sign and stopped in. The "open" sign was up but the door was locked. A few moments later a car drives up and we are greeted with a rude "can I help you?" She said they don't open until later in the day. She waited there watching us until we left. Made us feel like we were doing something wrong. Won't be going back.

The wine tasting was very unpleasant, the wine glasses had a previous patron's lipstick and when I mentioned it to the owner, I was given another dirty glass. We tried the red wines, although it was a 1 oz pour, we could not finish the tasting. The wine was harsh and bitter, leaving a bad aftertaste. We stopped at the second red choice, we each paid a $5 fee and left the winery very disappointed.

The barn were the tastings for both the wine and beer was beautiful, music was super chill and everyone very friendly. The beer and wine were nice as well. Pizza's were being made in the pizza oven outside. Tables set up outside to enjoy a glass or pint and some food.

This is my favorite winery/brewery to visit in Vermont. There is rustic home-made atmosphere (that is genuine) that I like that is absent in most other wineries and breweries. Not to mention both the wine and the beer is pretty tasty!

My ranking is for wine not beer. Their focus has switched to beer and with amazing results in their Foley Brothers beers. You can do much better at Lincoln Peak and others if wine is what you really care about. And the grapes that grow in VT make sweet wines almost universally so be aware of that. Vermont ain't Napa ;)

While on vacation in Vermont August 2014, my husband and I visited the Neshobe River Winery and Foley Brothers Brewery (Part of same business). The personnel in the tasting room were very friendly and knowledgable about their craft beers and wines.
The location is on a farm in the beautiful state of Vermont in an idyllic location. I would give the beer , especially the ginger wheat beer, a 5 star rating. We did not taste their wine. That will happen next year.
There is a small fee but you come away with your tasting glass.
