What a small interesting shop. They had some of the most interesting and different ornaments on display. The person who took care of us was so nice and kind to us. Lots of interesting things to pick up here.

Penelope Wurr is a fantastic gift shop. She has loads of items from the U.K., like Maltesers, HP Sauce, Cadbury chocolates, wine gums, marmite, and many others. She carriers beautifully hand crafted jewellery, plates, mugs, unique salt and pepper shakers, funny Lady Bird books, cards, and a wide range of delightful gifts.
There is also a nice view of the town from the upstairs window, and a lovely tribute to her Mum. Penelope is an interesting lady to have a chat with as well, very friendly and welcoming. Anyone visiting Brattleboro should check out this wonderful shop.

I really enjoyed browsing in this shop, It has a wonderful variety of items. Some of the items offered are cards, wrapping paper, and china. The items are beautifully arranged. Penelope, the owner is a lovely lady.

The shop carries the nice selection of items from around the world. Worth the visit when you're in Brattleboro, VT.

This small shop had quality merchandise and some unique items. The owner was extremely nice and went out of her way to package my purchase so it would travel well.

I was roaming the downtown streets on an early Saturday evening after checking into a local hotel for the night. Most retail establishments were closed but, to my surprise and intrigued by the shop window displays, this shop was open after normal biz hours. A voice greeted me from somewhere in the back of the sales floor, with a distinctive British flair, reassuring me to wander about while she was busy preparing for the next business day.
With that comforting note, I enjoyed gazing over each section of her eclectic array of "things" that would pull from my heartstrings. After venturing up to the 2nd floor, I found a perfect gift (after not having planned to buy anything initially) for a dear friend I was visiting the following day.
As I was paying for the gift, Penelope and I chatted about "this and that" in her natural comfort zone. She made one feel that we are all connected in some fashion in life.
Have fun while viewing her collection and getting more familiar with the warm personalities of Brattleboro!

I visited this shop this past weekend and was very happy with my visit. Very nice shop, they had a lot of cute and unique items. The gentleman working that day was super friendly. Would definitely go back.
