Loved the tour

Thea gives an amazing tour!! As natives to Burlington, Vermont, we can attest that she brings a deep knowledge of the history of the city, not only ghost knowledge, but also the general history of our fair city! She is enthralling, entertaining, engaging, and funny as she tells the ghost stories, along with the historical background, of various haunted buildings in Burlington. As interesting as it was for us, I can only imagine how interesting it must be for people who are not from Burlington! We would HIGHLY recommend this tour as it has something for everyone. A Must Do For Ghost Hunters

Went in early August with 12 and 13 year old sons who love all the paranormal shows on tv. Tough to compete with that but tour guide still held their interest for the most part. Is a walking tour so the stories have to be tied to something within that distance, we did the walk about Lake Champlain that started in Battery Park. Guide very knowledgeable and as we were a small group she was happy to answer any questions we had about the area. Good cross section of stories and you can tell she knows her history. Boys said maybe a bit more background on Champ. Major kudos as we were the only ones on this tour (seems they get really busy closer to Halloween) but they did not cancel and we received the whole tour. Would recommend you add this to your list when visiting.

A Spooky Glimpse of History

This hour-long tour of downtown Burlington included spooky stories of locals and historic buildings. Now I want to go back and visit some of the places that were on the tour to see if I can catch a glimpse of a ghost or two.

The tour runs rain or shine, so dress appropriately. Wear comfortable walking shoes because this is a walking tour. It is appropriate for all ages.

Yes, it's true! Though we are a walking tour, and not a museum-style tour, many haunts we feature can be visited by the public. Your advice about appropriate clothing and shoes is spot on. PERFECTION FOR HALLOWEEN NIGHT!

My husband and I attended the Darkness Falls Ghost Walk Tour on Halloween night and boy, oh boy, it did not disappoint! So engaging, really interesting to hear about the stories of Burlington and also surprised to hear of all the creepers, haunts and ghosts that fill our little city! It was a chilly and windy night which made is a little extra spooky, too! Well done!

Fun walk on cabbage night!

Last night, thea took us on a walk around a town I've lived in for 35 years. I learned a lot about buildings I've walked by so many times. Thea is a great storyteller and dresses the part. I wish the tour had lasted longer than the hour and a half, it felt like there's so many more stories. We will definitely do one of her other tours (we did Darkness Falls).

Ghostly Good Time

Thea is a story teller that reminds me of times gone by,she reminds me of a teacher I once had that I couldn't wait to hear more or another story.

We started out the evening in a steady rain and before we knew it it had slowed to a occasional drizzle,which added to the evening like a mood enhancer.

Next year we will return for another of Thea's tours,it was that well done.

Queen City tour, darkness falls

This last weekend Thea brought us on the Queen city tour, darkness falls. I loved the information and real life history we learned about. I could sit and ask her questions for hours on end. She is a wonderful guide and I take such an interest in this that I would love to learn all she knows and maybe help me find whatever bewitching hour family holds. Fun spooky & entertaining splashed with details of Burlington’s history

My wife and I try to catch a ghost tour each year we visit Burlington and this year’s was the best! Thea our guide and creator of the tours continues to develop her story telling nuances and her tech (had a mobile mike). With a historical mix of gruesome detail, quick humor, and heart touching ghosts, she took us behind and between ancient brick buildings and made us aware of the often unseen past around us. With new creative tours each year, we look forward to haunting with her again! (smiles)
