This is a great locally-owned wine and cheese shop that is a must-visit if you are in the Ludlow/Okemo area. Leslie is incredibly helpful (and kind!), recommended a great variety of Vermont and French cheeses and loaded us up with perfectly paired wine. Our husbands went back a couple days later and she remembered us, our wine preferences, and sent the boys back with another great selection of wine for a formal home-cooked dinner.

This shop sent Leslie to do an event I attended at Glimmerstone Mansion. I don't even drink wine, but I enjoyed learning about them. All the cheeses were fun to learn about, and I really liked them. I went to the store the next day to buy some to take home (Summer Snow and Weston Wheel). Leslie was very knowledgeable and interesting without being pushy.
The shop itself was cute. I couldn't remember my favorites from the night before, so she gave me samples to refresh my memory. It was a very nice experience.

We dropped into this amazing shop to pick up some local cheeses as well as a bottle of wine. We sampled a few different cheeses before deciding on a selection of three cheeses: blue, goat and cow cheese. Next was choosing the wine. We were totally guided by the owner of the shop. She chose a wonderful red wine Birichino from Mokelumne River. It was absolutely delicious and was an outstanding suggestion. It was priced very well for the quality of the wine. We took our bounty back to our apartment, lit a fire and chilled. A great night in!

We enjoyed the excellent selection of wines in this delightful little shop in Ludlow. We purchased 5 bottles of wine today. The owner was very knowledgeable about local wines and others from around the USA. Thanks for a great experience today!

The wine and cheese depot is the place to pick up your gourmet supplies. We enjoyed nights on the deck with glasses of wine and Vermont cheese to start the evening.

This is another of our regular stops when we visit Vermont. Even though we live in the NYC area with plenty of wine shops nearby, we know that we can find unusual and fine selections here. Leslie the owner is generous with her time and knowledge.

they always offer a carefully curated selection and are knowledgeable! We end up with a case or 2 of mixed offerings any time we pass thru. Cheese case rounds it out tho a trifle less of a bargain. Now at the rear of this unique shop there is also a restaurant.

Leslie & her staff are incredibly knowledgable and can recommend any wine or cheese for any occasion. Most likely, if your going to dinner at a friends house, they will even know what that friend likes to drink...seriously!

Food here was very good. Some excellent specials. Wide selection of wines. Smaller restaurant but plenty of space with the upstairs.

Accidentally stumbled across this little gem and so pleased we did! The lady owner (apologies for not remembering your name) was incredibly accommodating, and invited us to sample various cheeses before making our decisions. Until stepping into the store we had had a mixed evening, and she certainly turned things around for us - we left with a bag full of goodies which were washed down with a great bottle of wine.
