Really enjoyed this art centre, lots to see and reflect upon! The many Americas - Art meets History exhibition was fascinating and thought provoking. Some interesting observations and commentaries to go with the art.
The solo exhibitions were also good and I found the Ann Young portraits exceptionally good.

We really enjoyed seeing the sculptures. We drove to the top of the road and walked down. There is quite the variety of sculptures and it was a beautiful day. Many / most of the sculptures aren’t labeled and there is no map, which we found odd - It would be nice to be able to understand a bit about the pieces.

This was my second visit to this arts center
It is located in such a lovely setting

Grounds are beautiful to walk on, especially the different sculptures. Some very talented artists are on display. And the best part? Majority of the art work is for sale!

What a delightful experience from the trails with unusual sculpture to the current exhibit of artists, visiting was a treat and well worth it. The cafe wasn’t opened until noon so we didn’t get to experience it though others have recommended it. After exploring the museum we accessed the Equinox trails and hiked back to our hotel. Very pleasant all around.

Definitely worth a visit! SVAC recently opened a new Cafe called CurATE that is fantastic! I would recommend checking out the SVAC Website and Social Media for information on current exhibitions and programs. I also enjoyed taking a hike on the property.

We mostly drove up and looked for sculptures in the woods and then did some walking in the fields. One a nice day this would be a fun experience.
