The Carson rest stop on I-95 is just north of Stoney Run, Va and a few miles south of the I-95/I-295 split. There are clean rest rooms, a vending area,dog run,picnic tables and over the years noticed that it is never overly crowded, thinking most travelers stop a few miles south at the small center at the Virginia line instead. They no longer call this a visitors center, I guess since they closed the adjacent building that had staff and all of the travel brochures,maps etc.
