Adam was awesome - very flexible with us as we had to alter dates. Rode creeper trail - beautiful scenery on 17 mile downhill coast from Whitetop, (this should be on everyone’s bucket list!)

The staff are always freindly and accommodating! They provise well maintained bikes and their vans are modern and kept very clean.They are professional yet personable head and shoulders better than most vacation activity outfitters.

Had a great time riding Virginia Creeper Trail. Bicycle Junction was a great place to rent the bike from. It is at the end of the trail so that was good. The only problem was with the bike I had was I think it was too small and the seat wouldn’t stay in one place. Very friendly staff. Thank you.

Family in the Boone area recommended we try the Creeper Trail. So glad we did! 10 of us ranging in ages from 20 to 57 took it on. After searching for bike rentals and reading reviews, I chose the Bike Junction because it was the first place when you come off the trail. It was a great choice! Staff was friendly and helpful. Bikes were all in good condition. They helped us all pick the style of bikes we wanted, made adjustments if necessary and loaded us up. Paul drove us to the top and unloaded us and off we went. We went on Tuesday and the trail was great, not crowded at all. We stopped at several places along the way and made it down in about 3 hours. Staff recommended a few local places and we chose Damascus Diner. Enjoyed that as well. Thank you to Bicycle Junction. A great time was had by all!

Firstly, the Virginia Creeper Trail is really an easygoing ride. I was unsure how long it would take me so only committed to White Top to Damascus, but I will return and do through to Abingdon which will take much of the day but I know I'll enjoy it. I'm not a cyclist, but this is an easy ride - the first quarter is more or less coasting, the rest just a basic level of fitness will get you through. Bicycle Junction was great. Easy to make the reservation, simple reminders about my booking and check-in was trouble-free. I brought my own helmet and was solo, so I basically showed up, they fitted me with a bicycle (you can choose between hand and pedal brakes) and I waited maybe 10 minutes for the rest of the group to arrive and we left in two vans for the relatively short drive. When you arrive, they hand you your bicycle and you're on your way. They provide you with a bottle of water and tire repair kit - my bike was perfect, no issues. Returning was as simple as passing over the bicycle, sharing a laugh about just missing the rain. I really enjoy this corner of Virginia, but this is the first time I've done the Virginia Creeper Trail - already planning the next trip, for sure, rain or shine.

Bicycle Junction saved our family bike ride after my 11 yr old broke his arm prior to our trip. They have a special bike trailer capable of carrying him so he could ride along and we could take advantage of the unseasonably warm November day to check out the VA creeper trail. Staff were all courteous and professional and everyone was wearing masks (a big concern of ours). Thankfully the other riders on our shuttle as well as our driver took mask-wearing seriously and we had a safe, pleasant ride up to Whitetop station (even with my car sick prone children). Would definitely use this company and recommend them to others.

We came to Damascus once again to ride the VA Creeper Trail on our own bikes to view the fall foliage and enjoy a 17-mile down-hill ride. We only needed shuttle service to the top of the trail since we had our own bikes.
This location again provided us with great service. The entire staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely appreciate our business after a rough summer of Covid restrictions. We had a large group of folks with the same reservation time as we had, so three or four vans were employed that morning to take us all to the top. It's a bit of a drive up to the top of the mountain, and our van was pretty full of folks, but everyone wore their masks.
Price per person was in line with other similar venues in town, and we were happy with that.
We hope to come back again and do the ride as an annual event, and we will be happy to use Bicycle Junction again each time they can accommodate us.

Although the staff are pretty friendly, this is not the place to go if you are concerned about being packed into a shuttle van with lots of other people during a pandemic. Some people wore masks but not everyone, and it wasn’t enforced in the van. This really should be mentioned on the website so that folks know what to expect when they arrive. Also, most of our bikes were in poor condition, and we got a flat tire 2 miles from the end. The rubber on the tire was worn through completely in that spot. Probably won’t use this place again.

I am sorry that we didn't meet all your needs. The vans are not running at full capacity this year and masks are asked to be worn. I am sorry but flats happen the good lord didn't make the tubes it is something that will happen. I am sorry if you don't use us again but that is your right have a good day

I was once again impressed by the friendliness and quality of service that Adam and his staff offer.
For those renting bikes, Adam goes out of the way to make sure that they get a correct and comfortable fit.
Thanks to Adam, Tommy and the rest of the staff for several days of fun biking. I hope to see you again before the close of the season!
