We lost a lot of balls. A bit stressful almost running out before 9th. But the course is well maintained and we did enjoy ourselves. Just go easy and lay up if you want to do well on the narrow fairways with thick brush.

Amazing, scenic and very challenging. Most beautiful location for a course east of the Mississippi. A must play for any serious golfer.

First off, it’s a beautiful course. I wasn’t disappointed in the views and beautiful golf course. However, for what they charge ($235/18-holes) is absurd. I have a 3.2 index if that lends anything to this review.
It is very much placement golf at its best with the slightest margin of error if your ball ends up a little right or a little left. There are red/white pole markers in the fairways guiding you where to hit shots off the tee because you can’t see the green from the tee box on most holes.
The fairways are cut so short and so tight that it takes nearly a perfect swing to hit a good shot. I mean they are so tight you could nearly putt on them. I hated this! This also caused balls to run through the fairways a lot.
The inside golf staff wasn’t rude but they sure weren’t very welcoming either. The starter on the other hand was great.
Overall, I was disappointed in my experience. There are plenty of other mountain courses to get similar type golf for a fraction of the cost. I don’t mind spending money if what I receive is worth it. In my opinion, the golf course is an average design that’s well maintained. The experience was nothing special to justify the cost of the round. I would not go back.

It was a treat to play here. Bent greens a nice break from Bermuda we play on. The course was in great condition from tee to green - late September. You forget that you are up 3000 feet. Drink lots of water.
Keep an eye in where you land. Keep an eye on your playing partners too. We played two days in a row. Which is helpful. As a woman, I appreciate the placement of the forward tees and the bathrooms which were well maintained.

This was the most picturesque course I have ever played. Spectacular mountain views! The course was in fantastic shape. The greens were pure and fast, and they were by far the largest greens I’ve ever seen. Scottish highland type course with tall fescue grass lining the fairways. A definite test of golf but so very enjoyable! Can’t wait to play it again!

Challenging course where you will find yourself immersed in the natural beauty surrounding you. And the course was in perfect condition. Greens are extremely large with many undulations. You can't miss them by much or you'll be unlikely to see your ball again. A very unique golf experience.

We spent 3 days/2 nights at this wonderful resort. Played golf twice on a very good (and difficult) golf course. Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend Primland for a getaway.

I just experienced the best deep tissue massage ever! Zach was awesome and really knows how to work on knots in my shoulders!
Highly recommend him! And the resort definitely 5 star!!

We’ve been coming to Primland for 5 years and we just love it.....so much so we’d like to keep it a secret. The tree house, pinnacle cottages and lodge were all amazing. The golf and spa can’t be beat! We never want to leave.

I am a photographer, and have an upcoming session near this area. Would I be aloud to do pictures at the golf course, just around it not acually going on to the gold course?
If so, is there a fine I would have to pay to do this?

Your best answer would be obtained by calling the golf resort and asking to speak to management.
We were guests at the place and played golf.
