What a LOVELY way to spend a day (March weather was mid 70's) in Mallorca! This family owned winery (since 1626!) is run by personable husband and wife Julio and Miriam. Miriam responded very quickly to previous emails and we opted for the full dinner/tasting experience. Picked up at our Palma hotel by Julio, it was a quick 20 minute drive to the quaint town where Can Piza is located. The tour was fantastic, informative and the wine/food were wonderful! We were given tastings of wines they had made, as well as other local and mainland wines. We even tried a BLUE wine called "Yes, It's Blue"! It was certainly a relaxing and enjoyable day. Julio and Miriam certainly have a passion and pride for their wine/food, and you can literally TASTE that passion. I would certainly do this tour again the next time I am in Palma!

Wir haben ein Wein- und Tapas-Tasting bei Miriam als Geburtstagsüberraschung gebucht und der Abend war rundum perfekt!
Wir durften verschiedene Weinsorten (v.a. auch autochtone/typisch mallorquinische, die man so sonst nirgends bekommt) und dazu passende Tapas (mehr als ausreichend als Abendessen und wahnsinnig lecker) probieren, haben wirklich umfangreiche Infos zu Weinanbau, Produktion und Geschmack bekommen und jede unserer Fragen wurde sehr ausführlich beantwortet :)
Es war alles super lecker und auch individuelle Essenswünsche wurden komplett berücksichtigt.
Miriam hat sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und auch das Versprechen, dass wir nach den diversen Gläschen Wein keine Kopfschmerzen haben werden war nicht zu viel versprochen :)
Wirklich eine absolute Herzensempfehlung - es war ein großartiger Abend und wir sind immer noch begeistert! :)

Una experiencia increíble. Sumergida en un ambiente totalmente autóctono, mallorquín. En la que aprendes a valorar el trabajo árdua que conlleva hacer vino. Un viñedo cuidado. Pruebas lo que resulta de la pasión y la perseverancia de una familia que intenta y lucha por conservar una tradición que debe continuar. Todo gira en torno al vino, muy buen sabor pero probarlo ha sido lo de menos, la experiencia es lo de más. Todo positivo al 100%. Gracias por acogernos y por enseñarnos, por mostrarnos vuestro trabajo. El resultado viene solo. Gracias Miriam, Julià y toda la familia por conservar esto. Bruixa y el pastor (no recuerdo el nombre pero es cosa del vino) nos han hecho de guía en todo el tour. Simplemente espectacular.

The perfect way to spend a day in the country side. Beautiful winery and location. Lovely knowledgeable owners (and adorable dogs) with delicious local food, paired perfectly with the magnificent wines.
Cannot recommend Canpiza enough for a truly memorable experience.

Julian picked us up in Alcudia and then we spent the day with Miriam tasting. First off in the fields with a spectacular view of the flour mill then looking over the bay of Palma. They were warm, friendly and it was educational without be pretentious ( often a North American experience). They let the grapes speak for themselves with a hands off wine making approach. If you care about unadulterated wines made with love from Mallorca then this is a great place to be. I haven’t even mentioned the food, better than any restaurant on our trip. This is the place to be in Mallorca. Thank you!

Ich bin unglaublich froh dieses Weingut entdeckt und das Full Meal Visit gebucht zu haben. Ein unvergesslicher Besuch mit herzlichem Empfang. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen perfekten und unvergesslichen Nachmittag, der sich glücklicherweise bis in den Abend zog.
Aus Palma wurden wir mit dem Shuttle abgeholte und der Beginn der Verkostung hat uns bereits den Atem geraubt. Unter einem alten Baum mit Sicht auf das Weingut und über die Reben, startete die Weinverkostung. Sachkundig und sehr charmant durch Paul geführt. Ein kleiner, sehr leckerer Snack rundete die ersten Weine ab. Danach ging`s zur Besichtigung in das historische Weingut. Die Zeit verging wie im Flug, als wir dann im Garten an einer wunderschön gedeckten Tafel Platz nehmen durften. Das war pures Gänsehaut-Gefühl. Es war wie bei Freunden zu Gast zu sein, obwohl wir Miriam & Julian zum ersten Mal begegnet sind (aber sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal.) Kulinarisch war alles perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt.
Alles in Allem ein absolut perfektes Erlebnis, das man uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen muss, weil es so ein wunderschöner Fleck Erde mit tollen Gastgebern ist !!!

Our yearly visit didn't disapoint. Can't recommend Can Piza enough from the beautiful surroundings, the wine, the food and more so the wonderful hosts Julian and Miriam who are such lovely, informative people. We are already looking forward to out visit in 2023!

We have taken many friends to this unique wine tasting. Miriam and Julian are excellent hosts and the wine they make and serve are all equally great. The Finca sits on a plateau overlooking Palma and to sit there watching the sunset with a glass of nice wine and enjoying the homemade tasty tapas is a truly relaxing experience. We would also like to complement Paul who took us out in the vineyard to taste the whites. Finally - please take the opportunity to use their pick-up service instead of driving - makes for a much more fun wine tasting!
