Was so excited to come to this place, but was a bit disappointed that there were very few stacks ... however, we went down and added a little ‚bridge’ ....

Parked at waterfall car park and walked back to road bridge over creek. Beautiful scene of creek winding through scrub towards hills. Till reading prior reviews I was unaware of rock stacking tradition at beach estuary. Will return again with kids who’d love that afternoon project.

After climbing to see the falls we decided to try and take a walk beside the creek, not very successfully! There were spots that you could get close but we bailed out fearing it was an accident waiting to happen

I had read a few weeks ago that the rock stacks were back....but then a local said they were gone again. Maybe they come and go with high tides?

Great fun for all and kept our group busy for more than 2 hours adding to the landscape.
Car park opposite side so be careful crossing the road.

We went up & down this stretch of coast stopping at every place you could get down to the beach & failed to find the multiple stacks of stones we'd seen in a publication. There is no sign but from the photos posted here the stacks should be near the bridge. We went there too - no stacks....perhaps the tide washed them away?

We were on a private tour - our guide told us this stacks are subject to the time of year and weather conditions. So for example, if there has been wild weather or a king tide, then these stacks will disappear into the sea.
But, at certain times of the year, yes they do exist.
P.s. they are handmade and not natural. Not sure if I need to point that out but......lol

We stopped a spent close to an hour there creating rock stacks and racking in the breath taking beauty of the river meet the sea

We went there yesterday and there were a couple stacks. We created another 4 stacks but when we passed this morning all had been knocked down. Not sure if someone deliberately knocks them over or the sea tide does. Access is down small track on Apollo Bay side of bridge.
