We stopped into the gallery before our reservations at Three Blacksmiths, and ended up spending over an hour in happy conversation with the owner, Andrew while exploring the artwork. The scale and coziness of the gallery allows for a quiet, intimate experience of the art, and I felt welcome as an appreciator of art even though I wasn't necessarily looking to purchase anything.

Lots of interesting things to see here—we were here twice in one weekend and both couples ended up going home with purchases. Feel free to ask Andrew about the artists—several are local—and the pieces are even more interesting when you have the backstory.

Haley Gallery a variety of high quality and interesting compelling contemporary art in a variety of media. I love the paintings. There are a variety of styles. Art in other media is always intriguing. The gallery is in a house. There is something eye-catching on each floor The people in the gallery are friendly & knowledgeable. It's well worth the time. The gallery is located in Sperryville - about 6 miles from the Inn at Little Washington in Washington VA

This little gallery in the heart of the town of Sperryville, VA shows some remarkable regional artists. It's a wonderful weekend destination. While the gallery seems to focus on painting, the standout work is by a photographer, Ron Paras. If you venture there don't miss his amazing black and white landscapes. My boyfriend said he'd buy me one for Christmas. I'm gonna hold him to that! After the gallery visit we went to the Pen Druid brewery, (also in Sperryville). It's a cool place with great beers, owned by a rock band. We met Van, one of the owners who is very friendly and a lot of fun to talk with. Be sure to do the beer tasting if you go. A visit to the Haley gallery followed by beer tasting at the Pen Druid make for a very pleasant afternoon. Highly recommended!

Do not pass by this art gallery!! Fantastic ingenious interactive and quirky! So imaginative! I've never seen anything like this collection.

Andrew Haley who started this gallery in Sperryville VA years before after having had a gallery in DC is a really nice person and highly knowledgable. He represents local artists who are exceptional. He has all prices of art work from a few hundred dollars to $20,000 or more. He is very easy to work with. My wife and I have been considering some of the art by Chris Stephens for many years now and Andrew is never pushy about purchasing anything. He will also deliver and set up the artwork that you purchase. Make an effort to stop into his gallery the next time you are in Sperryville Va. You will be impressed by the quality of the artists he represents and by his willingness to work with you or just tell you about his gallery. If you are in Sperryville when Hopkins Ordinary Aleworks is open across the street don't hesitate to stop in and have some of their craft beers which are brewed one batch at a time.

The gentleman that is responsible for this wonderful place has been painstakingly restoring this 18th century home for seventeen years.It is across from the Thornton river, on Main Street in historic Sperryville VA.There is a custom framing shop on the first floor ,back from the galleries there.This is a place not to be be missed when visiting the area.

We really didn't expect to find such a gem of gallery in Sperryville. The owner is very careful about the art he curates and it seemed to us that he'd chosen an outstanding group of artists who combine pushing boundaries with producing work that one would happily have in one's home - so much so, in fact, that we ended up purchasing a splendid set of paintings by the talented Michael Fitts.

Happened upon this understated but very fine small gallery in Sperryville, a few miles from the Inn at Little Washington. In addition to framed art (all originals, of course), there are some striking hand-carved tables and other pieces. While the pieces are not for those on a strict budget, they are worth the investment if you fall in love with one (or more). The gallery "guide" was unpretentious and informative and understood our need to balance what we loved with the dimensions and color palate we needed (no art snobbery here!).
