OP was very gracious during our visit and provided us with a wealth of knowledge of wines and surrounding area. Way out of the way, but worth the trip.

Called ahead and was easily accommodated to ensure outdoor seating. The owners and hosts visited w us about region and their farm. The wine is all tasty. We left with an assorted case. Recommend the stop.

Mountain Rose Winery was a hidden gem! We left with a case of assorted award winning wines and after finishing those are ordering more to be shipped. Very nice owners that live sharing their creations!

We had a very enjoyable time stopping in at the vineyard! The lady working there was so helpful and friendly! I will definitely stop again when we’re back in the area!!

This is a nice place. The wines are really nice. The lady running it is really friendly and very helpful if you're unsure what you're looking for. The last time we went she had Sangria made for sampling. She gave us her recipe too. The Autumn Gold and Pocahontas are our favorites. They only make Pocahontas if the conditions are right. We've only lucked into it 1 time but if we ever see it again I plan on stocking up.
They also have Sip and Paint classes I think once a month. Some times they have Murder Mystery dinners. I think they do wedding there too.

This place was great! 3 samples for free or a full tasting for $8.00. The staff was really nice and the wine was great. I would definitely come back for a paint and sip or other event.

The woman who served us was very nice. The wine was pretty good, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely swing through if you’re in town!

It is localy owned they have a tasting room and you can look around and see just how they do everything and you can buy any tipe of wine they make and they have some great ones and you can take it with you or they will ship it to you

I enjoyed a mystery evening with friends and we had a great time. I don’t imbibe but others especially enjoyed the sangria. A traditional turkey dinner was delicious. The mystery detective host was hilarious and engaging. Alas neither of our teams solved the mystery but we laughed a lot. My only complaint was the lack of coffee with dessert, a minor thing.
