Nice people own this place. Very good beer and the food from their food truck is great jay inslee is a doofus. Please support this brewery, they are doing great and always have a good crowd in the outdoor seating and they are 100% an American success story.

Eastern WA is the home of hops! There are so many great breweries around. I was excited to try this one, but the beer was just lacking. I thought it was overpriced. The server was inattentive and not many people were wearing masks.

The staff is great, and I can bring my dog! The beer is good if you like the hoppy stuff, and is inexpensive (especially for the quality). The also brew their own ginger beer and root beer, and they are both good. The inside is quite loud when 1/2 full or more so don't expect to have a low-volume conversation. It's worth a stop!

Being from back East, the idea that I can get pint of a well done IPA on tap for $5 is pretty rare.
It is small & only has 1 large table for groups, but I imagine they could pull some smaller ones together.
There is no food here (again being from back East this is pretty rare), but they have menus of local places that will deliver.
Eat before you go, but leave room for the beer!

On our way through Ellensburg my wife and I decided to spend a few hours at a local brewery, and we were happy we chose whipsaw. The beer itself was very good. They had a few IPA's (my favorite) to chose from and my wife enjoyed the porter/stouts. The lighter beers we tried were less impressive. They do not have food available on site, but we ordered from a local Mediterranean restaurant, which was very tasty. They have a nice deck in front for warmer weather. There are a few breweries in town, you could easily spend an afternoon hopping from one to the other. Make sure you visit whipsaw, you won't be disappointed.
