This museum is near Paine Field Airport and was not open to the public in May 2023 - They refer to the museum of fight (at Boeing Field / King County International Airport)

If you have never seen a plan being built up close then you need to go! if you have never sat outside in a lawn chair or in your car and watched someone test fly huge jets YOU NEED TO GO! This place is soooooo much fun. We bring our granddaughter and have picnics watching them fly the jets in and out to test fly them (for free!)!!!! You will love it.

I was checking this place out towards the end of the day and had the place to myself. One of the volunteers gave me a great tour. Pretty neat what they are doing here.

These people have good knowedge of what they display and what they are working on. Worth the trip to see Bill Boeing standing at the entrance. Great lobby displays and gift shop

My date brought me here. I have read several books about WWII...one about the Indianapolis, 'Kaiten' about the Japane suicide subs and numerous books about the Holocaust plus I lived in West Berlin, Germany for a year near the wall and saw the damage the war did to that city. Nevertheless, I found this barely interesting and not something I'd go back to see again. A plane is a plane, a tank is a tank and you can't even board one or touch. I could have gotten the same effect by looking at pictures. This is mostly for little kids, WWII veterans and those who have an interest in planes. I do not.

Good selection and choice for visitors of numerous aviation exhibits. Easy to get to from downtown Seattle via bus. Also got to see the blue angels take off and land later on after their show at a different location.

Have attended museum for its normal exhibits as well as the 2019 moon exhibit. Also saw Seattle Seafair festival Blue Angles takeoff, flyby and landing from museum parking lot. Saw talk by SR71 pilot - fantastic! And, did the space shuttle trainer tour which was informative and fun.

This facility is a labor of love for retired Boeing mechanics as they restore aircraft for display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The workers loved to talk shop and answer questions. $5 admission fee for adults and $3 for children 5-17.

The staff was very nice and explained all the restoration going on in the facility, got to be right next to the planes. Seen many different types being built. Great for anyone who is a mechanic that loves planes.

We were on our way to the main Museum of Flight, but the traffic was bad, so we turned around and went to their Restoration Center. For $5, this is great way to learn about some of the planes that could end up in their big museum. There is a nice little gift shop upon entering. The man at the register was very nice and informative. The main part of the museum is out back and it's quite interesting. It's part workshop as well. Being the weekend, there was no one working. There are quite a few planes and other vehicles like a fire engine on exhibit. The highlights are the Boeing 2707 and the Comet plane. The Comet plane you can actually walk into. It only takes an hour or less to go through, but it's well worth the time. Another highlight is out in the gift shop where there is a statue of William Boeing made out of various airplane parts looking outside. Anyone interested in airplanes will definitely enjoy stopping here.
