We occasionally will buy a box of chocolates here for gifts. Today those small boxes were $26.00 each! AND they wanted a tip!?! LOL
Yeah, the chocolate is good - but this is ridiculous. Won't be back any time in the near future. Nothing like price gouging.

We stopped here as part of a private tour of Seattle. The shop is super cute and the history was very interesting. We came on a Saturday, so tours weren't running, and no one was working in the kitchens, but they had a "window tour" where you could at least read the history and see what goes on in each kitchen area. The grounds themselves were beautiful. It would be a nice place to bring a picnic lunch and have some chocolate for dessert. The chocolates themselves were very good with a huge variety to choose from. The "chocolate fish" ice cream sandwich was also very good!

The exterior is architecturally interesting, and they offer outdoor visuals showing the various stages of chocolate making and tools. I think they do actual tours during the week; reservations are needed. They have lots of varieties and offer them in unusual containers and combinations. They also offer seconds for sale. Plenty of parking is available.

Private Chocolate Making Class. My friend organized for us to have this class for months and had been postponed a few times. This class is beyond my expectation. I thought the amount I paid was only for our chocolate making class. Instead they added a tour of their 80 years+ chalet and their own chapel, what a plus!!! We had a tour of their factory, we made & designed our own chocolate treats & bar, then the tour of their chalet & chapel, and after that we went to the kitchen to package our own creations of 3 lbs (I think) of chocolate which I believe is worth more than what we paid for the class!!! I highly recommend this. I really appreciated my friend for organizing this. We enjoyed the experience and we thought we will do this again!!! I give 5-star. Thanks to Narissa (instructor) & Fran (instructor-in-training & tour guide), we had fun! Thanks to their staff for their friendliness and willingness to answer our questions. We had the opportunity to meet Mr. Bernard (current owner). My golly, their chocolates taste so good! I’m surprise it’s not as expensive as I thought. My partner loves it!!!

This was our final stop on a sightseeing visit with an out of town guest. We were quickly greeted when we entered & offered a sample. There was a nice variety (including sugar free options). The chocolate is fantastic.

The weather pretty much shut down half the town. Covid was in full force. The winter holidays had many off school. The garden was closed. All the locals who were paying attention were ready and had finished shopping. Still a great place to visit. We bought 17 different chocolates and 4 prepacked boxes. Each of the single chocolates turned out to be excellent, the boxes are gifts.

The outside was adorable and decorated for Christmas. We went inside to check out the candy in the cozy shop. The saleswoman were friendly and helpful. So glad that they sell sugar free chocolates. I would love to return for a full tour.

A standard stopping place for my family for over 50 years. A friendly staff. Easy access from the freeway. Ample parking. Charming building. AND, best of all, yummy chocolate with a wide range of selection.

Read about their ice cream bars, so we came here for dessert after having lunch. The ice cream bar was delicious. It was a large chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bar with lots of nuts. The nuts weren't stuck to the chocolate, so nuts went everywhere when you took a bite. We went outside and there was a little park? to the side of the building and we ate our bars there. Would recommend if you ice cream, chocolate and nuts!
