We had a really good time here. Hands-on experiences with starfish, urchins, anemones, and sea cucumbers, getting to see ghost jellies, and a couple other fun little things made this a very memorable trip. Highly recommended for all ages. The only reason a star is missing is because about half of it was under repair.

The kids enjoyed the touch tank, octopus, informative video, coloring, stuffed animals, puppets and sea creature toys. There is no admission fee, but donations are accepted. They are located on the waterfront. They do offer school events for a fee.

We visited for less than 30 minutes and didn't get a chance to see the film. But we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the aquarium and talking to the volunteers (who were amazing)!

The aquarium is run by Western WA University and it has Puget Sound sea life and displays to see, and even touch. The tide pools are great for the little ones. Only takes a few minutes to tour, but well worth it if in town. Donations only, and we left a good one because it was fun and informative.

This is a small aquarium. Not sure where the science center came from. It takes about 10 minutes to go through. It may be more focused for kids.

What a fun place to learn about the waters surrounding the Kitsap Peninsula! There is a touch pond, some aquarium tanks, educational videos, and wonderful volunteers. The kids and grownups all enjoyed our visit.

A small but educational and fun stop in Poulsbo. Includes a small pond where children can see and touch various sea life. Some fish tanks scattered about. An arts and craft room. Also a small auditorium that shows short films.
It’s free however donations are appreciated. We’ve taken the girls there over a 5 year period. Current ages are 5, 10 and 14.

I live in Poulsbo and I finally ventured in to the Marine Science Center when I had some kids visiting from out of state and I was pleasantly surprised! It's really a small center but they have a great touch tank filled with our native marine life in addition to an aquarium. Admission was free and the kids loved it.
