Short walk to the beach from parking. Easy for all ages. Real bathrooms, not portables. Not a Sandy beach so wear appropriate footwear. Tons of shells, rocks, and crabs cover the beach. We were there on a misty afternoon which was eerily beautiful but would have been nice to see more of the mountains too. We saw a giant starfish and a few smaller ones, tons of crabs, some fish, and a seal out in the water. Definitely worth a stop!

Beach was very easy to find Nolan P. Amazing views of the mountains. The beach is small and rocky but you can’t beat the views. We were told the sunsets are amazing but didn’t stay long enough to watch the sun set. Not very many sunsets better than Colorado sunsets.

The best part was not seeing Nolan P. !! He may be a nice guy and all but if you take the fella to a scenic beach in Washington it seems like he CANT have a good time!

Probably a nice campground but could find NO access to the beach. The hiking trails were ok and the bathrooms were relatively clean. I have no idea why they call it scenic beach. At some points you could see the beach through the trees.

Nice views and rocky beach. We were with an 18 month old, so he preferred the playground. Better with older kids.

Great waterfront and very well kept campsites. We just tent camped on their "shoulder season" and it was $30, so not a cheap option, but fairly quiet and very woodsy with amazing views of the Olympics. We are local and we have camped here a couple of times. If you just want the view and a hike, you can find that other places, but we do like camping here. Good access to water and nice bathrooms and two playgrounds as well.

Definitely worth your time to visit when the weather is nice out. You can walk all over the place here either on the road, or along the many trials. You can access the water from a few different places with steps leading down. There are a few older wooden buildings (shacks) that you can walk in.

While staying in Seabeck, I chose to explore the area on foot. I walked to the Scenic Beach State Park and was in for a surprise. The name should have clued me in! Once I was through the camp area and trees, I popped out to the most exquisite mountain/water view. Absolutely breathtaking. Check the website for "free admission days". If you go, make sure to take a chair and refreshments then spend some time relaxing and nature watching. Had I brought supplies (a book, a chair and some snacks), I would have spent the entire day there.

This is perhaps my favorite state park on the Kitsap Peninsula. Great place for a picnic (bring your own or use the park's grills). Beautiful scenic views of the Hood Canal and Olympic Mountain foothills across the water. Cooler temps found out on the canal, so be prepared. Offers beach access, with beautiful pebble beach and crystal clear water.

Are bears spotted often here? Are there bearproof lockers? I've read there are many black bears on Kitsap Peninsula, want to make sure we are prepared. :)

I would say yes. I know the park is wheelchair accessible. I can't say for sure, but the vast majority of WA State Parks have some form of handicapped accessiblity and always at least one campsite reserved for handicapped.
If you mean, is the BEACH wheelchair accessible...um, probably not.

sorry I took so long to respond, I have been fighting a computer virus. Not to worry, you won't catch it from this computer.
As far as I know, none of the sites have hookups. Nor am I sure about the length of time one might stay. But it is a very nice park, even without hookups.

Can you buy a discover pass at the park?

Sorry it took so long to answer this: yes, you can buy a DIscover Pass at most if not all WA State Parks. Some even have something like an ATM machine where you stick your credit card in and it prints out the Pass.
