My son and I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon. There's free street parking near the building (you need to back into the parking spot). Lots of old retro arcade games, some of which I've never heard of before! Clean place, well decorated. Smells like a pizza parlor since they make pizza to order. All of the machines take quarters to play, and they have a bill change machine as well as a ATM inside.

Took my 13 year old son and a few of his friends to Dorky's and had a blast. Right up my alley, too, as I used to go to Arnold's on Broadway in Seattle back in the day so I know my stuff a bit. While the 80s seem like 1,000 years ago most days, it was awesome to slip back into old habits and play the coin ops. Dorky's hit it right and had a good mix of fun games for kids and adults (from hockey, and air hockey to Dig Dug and Mario Cart). Seemed like they had a pretty cool bar, too, but I had kids and had to drive, so I missed that part a bit. Either way, the place is great and we ran into some old friends there as well. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

The perks of this place, your favorite video games from the 80s until now. Easy to find location although parking was a little tricky. But limited bar selections (husband is not a beer drinker) and the food was not very appetizing. So if you like IPAs and video games, this is your jam.

The family stopped by during our family vacation when a place we wanted to attend changed their menu to something my kids would not eat. :( We were hungry.
After ordering pizza we examined the drinks. They have a TON of local beers and helped recommend good ones. They also had a great selection of sodas including local ones.
The games were awesome! Neat selection of pinball, old, and new.
The pizza was fine...not wonderful but not too bad.

Wow classic and new arcade games. Still 25 cents for old school arcade games. Lots of pinball old and new. I played several old pinball machines and they are in great shape excellent bumper action old school arcade gamed also have been well maintained.
We had fun and would recommend this place as a great way play some games.

I love old arcade & pinball games & this place had them all!! I also enjoyed the fact it's a bar-cade so I was able to drink some beers & pay some games!!

Kind of a labor of love for us who grew up on quarter vids. Kids are allowed, food is served, retro is current. Pretty good selection of old stand-up, console, bowling alley - type video games.

We shared a pizza, ciders and a variety of drinks and played some games. Like all arcades, it's noisy, but we had a good time socializing, eating and playing games. The pizza was tasty and the drinks were good.

We're so lucky to have Dorky's in Tacoma. They have an excellent selection of pinball machines of all vintages and tons of video games. Find all your favourites: Galaga, Burger Time, all the Mario and Pac-Man games, Battle Zone, Tempest, etc etc...
My favourite pinball machine is Elvira. I love that all the games are priced like they were back in the day. The other thing is that Dorky's will allow game extensions and bonus games (at least during the week) - not all clubs allow their games to have those functions.

Many of the pinball games are 25 cents...The new high tech games, like Star Wars are @ @4.oo. Food and beer are not overpriced
