Booked this activity as we was staying at forest holidays we was greeted with a friendly welcome .
Our first time on a segway and we had a good teacher who shown us all how to handle the Segway and how to use our feet .
After a little time learning how to handle them we went off into the woods our guide was brilliant very attentive .
We all had a fab time and we will definitely recommend doing this activity

Well organised from start to finish, with great Segway X2 off-road machines in good condition. Big thanks to our guide Daniel, who provided initial instruction for those new to Segways, with a small agility course to re-learn balance and turns. The woodland course is expansive and holds your interest, with hills, twisting tracks and scenic stopping points, where your guide will happily take pics for you.
Daniel was comfortable with our machine confidence, so we could get up a brisk pace on these X2s; an enjoyable world away from the mundane plodding at other experiences. We learnt more on this experience too; how to use toe / heel pressure / position to better control the Segways, rather than relying all on upper body movements.
A 'well-balanced' (and well priced) experience from Cheshire Segway; would definitely do it again; well worth the hours travel to get there.

I’ve tried Segway’s before at Centre parcs and some of our party had been several times at other places. This was a much better experience, the training and the woodland track are first class.
The range of terrain available made a real difference. The young man who guided us was excellent.

OMGosh what a Great Experience
It was a birthday treat
Taken in the July heat
A bike with 2 wheels!
Controlled with your heels
At first we were wary
Coz we thought it was scary
But Rob was great
And got us in shape
So after a while
We came back with a smile
Zooming through the trees
With ultimate ease
Some hills were steep
Controlled with your feet
So don't be afraid
And stay in the shade
Give it a go
Be part of the show
You will be fine
And have a Great Time

had a segway afternoon as part of a hen party - Daniel, the instructor, was amazing, took his time to make sure we felt comfortable and confident on the segways. the whole activity was brilliant and i would definitely recommend to anyone!

booked the segway experience at the end of April. 90mins before our slot it was cancelled because of the bad weather.
I didn't get a refund and told them I would just call and book another session.
This morning I tried to book again for the 1st of june and was told that day was fully booked up with corporate bookings, really, I said, As we had already checked and there were 2 slots available that could accommodate us.
The man insisted that there were no slots. I told him that the site was saying different and maybe we should just book on the site, again he insisted that there were no slots available and I wouldn't get a confirmation on them bookings! I asked for a refund and he couldn't find any details so i came off the phone to find my invoice. When i called back he offered me a 9.30am slot, which was available online, I told him that was too early and he then offered me the 5.30pm slot, Both of these times were the available times online. I asked him what happened to all the corporate bookings, he didn't answer?
I ended up cancelling the whole booking. The experience, lies, left a real bad taste in my mouth.
I would suggest that the man taking the bookings this morning is replaced by someone with better customer skills!....

in reponse you your comments regarding you booking request ,Unfortunaly we where unable to give you the times you requests due to booking already being in place . your refund for the session was carried out as soon as the payment details we given which was the same day you called .

Received a warm welcome today then were given simple instructions how to ride a Segway . Our guide, Rob, was really lovely and made sure we were all ok before setting off into the forest. Great fun on the forest tracks ! Would definitely recommend this for a morning out. Thanks Rob!

We were a bit nervous at first as we hadn't done Segway before but once you get on and get a feel for it, it is totally fine. Alex was our instructor and made us feel so at ease, reassuring us as we went through all stages. You start off on a little chicane course to practise turning, then move on to a section where you test control on a small hill then off to the woods, all the time with your instructor. There are a few boutique style shops, micro brewery, restaurant and other activities here too. In all we were here for about 2 and 1/2 hours. It was a really fun activity which we thoroughly enjoyed and will most certainly be going back.

We had a really good morning having a go at segway for the first time. Andy the instructor was great. Very reassuring as it took me a little while to get the hang of stopping and being in control going down hill!! Set in beautiful grounds we enjoyed exploring the shops too. Our children are too young to try this, but i imagine they'd love it when they're a bit older.

I paid £50 for a ticket for two people for an hours ride.If you want to book a party I would suggest you contact them direct and ask the price.
