Traveled from Davis WV to Elkins to experience the Big Timber Brewing Company, 2 seasoned and 2 novices with breweries. Much enjoyed both the loose, friendly atmosphere and the brew flights (8 choices). Timber motif a hit with us. The "veteran" brought home a growler. Well worth the drive to this brewing company.

Friendly brewery with delicious craft beer and seltzers. Try the Porter if you like dark. The Pineapple Strawberry Selzer is very good too and the Timber Cutter is gluten reduced.

A small but nice venue. Every beer we sampled was wonderful. The bar was pretty busy and only had one bartender working, but she managed to keep up and stay friendly and welcoming at the same time. Try a flight while you're there.

Partner and I stopped in twice on a recent trip through Elkins. The tasting room is 2 blocks down from the brewery which not all map applications have caught up to. Tasting room is decent size, but it's a busy place both times we stopped in. They had a lot on tap and even more options in cans in a cooler for sale there or to take home. They had a Mexican Chocolate Cake beer, Farmhouse ale, and Cherry Lime Setlzer that were all top notch. We tried 3 flights of others and were happy with all, those 3 just really stood out.

On a long weekend trip we decide to spend a few hours at the big timber brewing Company. Although the venue is not huge they do have a large area behind the brewery which is more of a loading dock area that has plenty of seating although it is cold when it’s cold outside. We tried all of the beers they had on top and they were all good to very good. Well worth the stop and would highly recommend it.

Big Timber has GREAT beer that is as good as any other brewery, big or small. They have the small town prices of Elkins so you get a very good deal. They are always changing their seasonal lineup and coming up with new recipes, so you can always try something new. I have never had a beer of theirs that I didn't like. The staff is always friendly. The taproom is small which is a nice atmosphere most days, but it does get very crowded quickly when they have events.

Very nice, small place with a huge selection of craft brews! The actual brewery just moved up the street a block or so from the retail bar. Its a great place to meet up with friends before the High School football game or for a quick drink after work,

We discovered Big Timber Porter beer at Pipesteam West Virginia State Park and fell in love with the brew. So we decided to make a stop at the Brewery and try their other beers. My Husband was not disappointed. He tried four of their darkest brews and liked them all. I stuck with the porter because it's my favorite. We even took a couple of four packs home along with one of their hats.

Tap room has a woodsy appearance. Offers micro beer, taps & cans. Love there's canned beer that you can purchase & enjoy at home. Merchandise available for sale. Limited food available on site. Small convenience store beside the tap room. You can also order delivery or bring your own. BTB staff are friendly & eager to talk with customers.
