This is my 2nd game here. First one was on a visit on a very cold day. At this most recent game I sat in the student section, ticket prices were reasonable. And the view was ok. The breeze way up there was good and much needed. It’s great that this is downtown, and let me tell you come early!!! I arrived downtown 2 1/2 hours before game time, and it was too late, had to park almost to the soccer stadium. It’s nice because there is lots to do and see while you wait, tailgating was fun and most everyone was friendly. Police everywhere, and I felt very safe walking alone back to my car as my friends were smart and came at noon for a 6:30 game. Restaurants and bars were packed also, so be prepared. It was a clean stadium for the most part, the bathrooms were older but still maintained well. If you’re around this is something to see for sure. Whole town comes out for the Herd!!

Really neat to see the thundering herd stadium. Was surprised that it was downtown. Enjoyed walking around and taking pics of the stadium.

My daughter and I attend the Green & White spring scrimmage game almost every year. I love the atmosphere at Joan C. Edward Stadium watching The Marshall Thundering Herd. This scrimmage is interesting because we get to see what skills players have that we will see play in the fall. Not only do we get to see the starters play, but several of the back up players that will be asked to step up in the event of an injury or also for the next season as a starter. The scrimmage is always made to be a learning experience for the players and coaches, but is a fun atmosphere for the fans. After the scrimmage, the fans are invited to come onto the field to get photos, autographs and talk to the coaches and team. My daughter & I get a pic with Doc Holiday, Marshall's Head Coach, each year. He will always sign our program for us as well. So this year when we walked up to Doc, he was finishing up speaking to a gentleman and we asked to see him. He said needed to go over to another part of the field with some other folks but would come back to look me up. He left and walked through the crowd of people with some urgency. My daughter and I thought, well he had something he needed to attend to because it was odd that he would walk away like that. So we really didn't think we would see him again this day. We walked over to several players, got pics with them and their autographs. We were going to another player when we saw Doc walking around in the crowd. You could tell he was looking for someone. We were about 10-15 yards away from him with lots of fans between him and us. He looked our way, made eye contact and yelled toward our direction, "There you are!" He had lots of folks following him for pics and autographs, but he made it a point to find us. Why? Because he promised he would. Doc is a classy guy with lots of integrity. Absolutely a man of his word. He didn't have to come back to me because I'm no one of importance, but he did! You do NOT find that in many famous football coaches today! I hope Doc is there for many years to come & that he is successful each year! GO DOC & GO HERD!

Relatively small stadium with about 38,000 seats. Restrooms really need to be updated. They look like they are the original ones. Seating is not bad. The lower bowl is below ground level so you don't have to climb up or down too many steps. The sound system really needs work, It was hard for us to understand most of the time. Concession stands are not bad but they didn't have some of the items listed for sale. The second half was played in a light, cool drizzle and the hot chocolate advertised would have been great but none of the stands had any. They didn't run out - they just simply did not have it to start. The most popular item appeared to be beer and there were a few fans who obviously had too much to drink. The stands were less than 3/4 full at the start and by mid 3rd quarter with the home team losing were almost empty. Fans are friendly even after losing.

It is what it is. A decent mid major stadium. Far from the best college football atmosphere in WV. Facilities are adequate, however stadium is rarely filled 75% of capacity.

Always electric at this stadium. Grest layout. Eady to get to good vendors, drink vendors and restrooms. The green and white game is special. You get to walk on the field after the game to meet the team, coaches and get autographs. Its a very fun time for families. My daughter and I went this year together. It was a blast!

Decent size stadium, everyone is very friendly and provides a great atmosphere. There is also a new stadium store that is pretty great. Restrooms are a little dated, concessions have a wide variety. Great place to catch a game.

Nice stadium! We had a great time cheering on the Herd to a win! Plenty of concessions and rest rooms. Lots of parking close by. A bonus was being there for Veterans Day and the band put on a great tribute along with paratroopers dropping in flying the American flag.

Good size stadium, easy to get around. Concessions and restrooms very conveniently located throughout the stadium. Friendly workers. Great atmosphere!

Great time here for Homecoming! The stadium is easy to get to, parking is very accessible, there are plenty off access to restrooms as well as lots of food, snacks and drink confession stands. They a frozen lemonade. It's especially refreshing on a hot day. Never a long wait for anything because they are available at each area when you leave where you're seated. The stadium is always clean and nest. The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. It's always a plus when the Herd wins! Prices are very afforsable for tickets and at the concessions. Great family fun!
