I loved visiting this site. The Arch is beautiful, and the location is easy to get to. Beautiful stone work, and worth quick visit.

We were only able to see the arch via drive-by as the arch was difficult to access. There is a strange fork in the road nearby.

Beautiful monument to World War One as beautiful as the on in New York .Located in a beautiful safe neighborhood well kept clean and peaceful adjacent to a good jogging trail .

We visited the arch and was in hopes there would be more to see in the area. We got lost in the mountains of Appalachia and found little to nothing in this area to learn it's history or culture.

The Memorial Arch is something interesting to see in Huntington. Apparently, it commemorates the soldiers who died in World War 1. It can be approached by driving west from Huntington's Ritter Park on North Blvd West, which becomes Memorial Blvd.. This is a scenic drive of about a mile through an area of stately old homes alongside a pretty creek. The white stone arch is tall and impressive, and a good background for family photos. Free curbside parking is available on nearby streets.
