Out of four previous major anchors in this mall only one remains. Three major anchors with large footprints are now gone. No more Pennys, Boston Store or Sears. Along with these leaving it has hurt the smaller stores as well due to the lack of foot traffic. Left is Kohls which does very well but if they ever relocate it will be another nail in the coffin. DICKS sporting goods has taken over about half of the old Pennys location and seems to be doing well. However; away from this mall, other large stand alone brick and mortar stores and strip malls in the Janesville area seem to be doing well. Not much left in the Janesville Mall and with the soon departure of Schucks, Creston Park Mall will suffer as well. There has been discussion of a sports complex possibly moving into the Sears location but nothing concrete yet, just talk.

Most of the major stores have closed as well of some smaller stores. Many empty spaces. Only thing it is good for is for seniors to mall walk.

Janesville mall is a convenient and small to midsize shopping mall with a few anchor stores and a nice selection of shopping and dining options inside.

It’s sad that all the stores continue to close. When I first starting going, all the department stores where there and only 1 or 2 empty units. Now there are more empty units than there are stores.

Kohl’s,is the main big box store ,along with a few speciality shops.
You will find a handful of food shops Inc the mall, but more on the outside on Milton Avenue

Put in expensive stores. Got rid if Jcpenny which is disappointing. So now I spend my money at Cherry Vale mall in Cberry Valley. More to offer. Even East Towns mall in Madison isn't as good as Cherry Vale mall.

Yesterday we stopped into Bath and Body works and i never write reviews but i must say i was so happy with my customer service i had to write one! We were greated by such a happy postive vibed chick named Holley. She told us about the awesome sale, made us laugh and had just such a postive vibe, she really loves her job if she wasnt there i probably wouldnt have bought anything but insted we got carried away in conversation and i bought the whole store! Thanks Holley at bath and body works!

the mall has undergone some recent remodeling. it is very nice. still some improvement is needed. more variety would be nice.

I did work at Boston Store part time until I retired and most of my paycheck was spent there. I may never have to shop again! Seriously, the variety of stores is sufficient to satisfy many shoppers who come from surrounding towns as well as Janesville. On line shopping is great but sometimes you just want to try it on- feel the material - see if it becomes you.
