Excellent restaurant but skip dessert!
Our starters and entrees were delicious:
Starter - Glazed asparagus salad with eggs and bacon was perfect combination of flavors. Perfect size for two to share.
Entrees - Both the walleye and salmon were flavorful with nice accompaniments.
Dessert - only three choices. We tried the lemon. Blueberry panna cotta. Very small size. Lacked flavor. Do not recommend.
Wine- All are produced on site using California-sourced grapes. Pinot Noir was a little bland but enjoyed the black Gypsy Zinfandel petite Syrah blend.
Staff were excellent.

3 of us came to Blind horse for wine tasting. Got seats at the bar and Jacob provided the list of wines. I am a wine club member, so we got 2 free tastings. Jacob was good at explaining the wines, albeit he was very busy running to all the tables.
We got to sample 5 wines and ordered a cheese plate that was a perfect complement. I especially liked the Hooks Baby Blue with honey.
This place is a warm, comfortable space and very easy to relax.
Jacob was friendly and very knowledgeable.

We definitely enjoyed our night here. Klohie was our server, and we thought she did a wonderful job Handling my gluten-free wife, and guiding us along the wine list. Also very nice personality. The wine is probably a bit pricey for the quality. But we were able to sample, so it was our choice. The The walleye was extremely good. I probably wish the portion was a little bit bigger. My wife enjoyed the scallops. Both came with sides of baby potatoes, they were probably a little bit heavy on the salt. However overall A very well presented meal.

As wonderful as the American Club may be, enhance your stay in Kohler by going to the Blind Horse Restaurant and Winery. The restaurant features a variety of dishes ranging from Asian inspired appetizers (Chicken Bao Buns not to be missed) along with more traditional steaks, chops and fish. Everything we tried was well-conceived and executed from this diverse menu. Drink menu also a plus. Our server, Emily, was friendly, knowledgeable and on top of our every want and need. It all comes at a price that is a strong value. Don't miss this place!

My husband and I came to the winery and we were lucky enough to have Erin Krebs on the patio singing. I have heard her before and love her voice. Got there at 5:00 to make sure we could get a table, and there were several. Ordered the caprese salad for each of us and a mushroom/sausage pizza. Love the crust on this pizza...so crispy. The weather was perfect, the patio was big enough to hold a lot of people without being to close together. Very ideal! Emily was our server and was so friendly and attentive .
Whoa....the turtle bar is huge and enough for 2 people.
Went in the winery afterward for a wine tasting and Krystal was our sommelier. Very helpful and we joined the club. Very fun afternoon!

Delicious wines, beautiful grounds and tasting room. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Plenty of room on the patio for sipping and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

This is a very special winery, super professional, friendly and fun! Chloe (the blonde. One) was very informative, amazing stories, knew the menu, overall fun!!! The food was spot on! The wine was a five! Got a bottle of Malbec. There was an Apple tree in the Peking lot and coming from Florida that was neat to see!

The space, food, wine, and service were all fantastic. We rented the loft, created a meal from the catering menu, and then ordered alcohol as we wanted that day. The manager (Jacob) made everything perfect, and even gave us an impromptu tour of the production room, including sampling wines straight from the barrel. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we will definitely be making this a regular weekend getaway.

My first time here and I could not have asked for a better expert - Jacob was amazing! He was so courteous and knowledgeable. Be sure to request him, hope to always see him behind the bar! The customer service was impeccable! The Blind Horse is definitely lucky to have such an attentive and personable expert.

A huge shout out to Jacob and his staff. Tammy & Ingrid at the winery and their attentiveness and knowledge of there products is definitely the bar that should be set when it comes to personality and customer service. We let them know we were also looking for dinner and were told to head over to the granary and to say the least between Faith our server and the rest of the staff the experience carried over. We received our food and the quality and different flavors was spectacular. I being in the family golf course and restaurant industry for the last 33 years know what I’m looking for and wanting and was not disappointed nor was my girlfriend. Was also told that they hold allot of live music and entertainment during the summer and farm to table type experiences. We will definitely be going back going forward
