Very rundown, turning into an Urban Ruin on the outside. Obviously needs many repairs and maintenance -- peeling paint, cracks, fountain in the front is filled with green gunk. Too bad it is in such bad condition ---- don't the people who attend services there care about how it looks??

We visited the church on a very cold dull day. We could not get on a tour or inside but explored the exterior of the church in detail. It is quite stunning. It almost floats like a flying saucer. The windows are beautiful too. It is on a big site so excellent views are available from all sides. Well worth a long trip. Unlike anything else Frank Lloyd Wright designed.

In the past we regularly attended this church. It is a masterful piece of architecture. One of his last works. I believe he died before it was completed. It is designed in the shape of the Greek Orthodox cross both on the outside and inside. Unlike many traditional looking churches, this one is very modernistic yet appealing. It should be visited if you plan on being in Milwaukee.

each year there is a greek festival held here. I've attended quite a few. The best festival ever. I lived only two hours away so there really wasnt much travel but worth going to check out.

ミルウォーキーに滞在中こちらの教会を訪れました。これが教会かと思ってしまうほど斬新な建築で、円形の建物にステンドグラスの配置も独特。大変見応えある氏の作品でした。

I would have loved to enter the church to see the architecture, but it was all locked up. I could see it must be beautiful. Call to find out how to get in before you go.

We drove by to see this unique church that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is somewhat in need of repair after all these years - but still very interesting to look at. It was not open to the public when we were there in the afternoon.

We visited this church when it was open for Doors Open MKE - while I am not a Frank Lloyd Wright fan - many of his buildings do not perform well as buildings - this is a fascinating building. I think the modern approach interferes with the sense of history that is part of the Orthodox Church but that said it is not the same old church and well worth a visit
