The quality of the service was not fully satisfactory. Relaxed in a group of 20 people (corporate departure) from September 14 to 15, 2024 in the cabins of Siberia. We asked in advance to reschedule the individual program around the campfire, the staff confirmed the rescheduling, in fact the program was not rescheduled and did not take place, promised to refund the prepayment for the program, but the refund was refused, despite the fact that we provided records proving that the rescheduling had been agreed.
We're shooting two stars because we didn't get a refund for the failed program.

Went to Etnomir last summer, so inspired that they decided to repeat this year, looking forward and planning to visit all interesting and favorite places. Last year made a fascinating post with story, photos and impressions on a personal page in the VC. This year, alas, we were in for a complete disappointment. But all in order.
So, let's start with the fact that we have booked the hotel "Siberia" for the date from 28.08.2024 to 29.08.2024, which in a year has never been able to repair and in any way clean up its rooms. Distorted doors and locks cannot be opened or closed the first time, the toilet door did not close at all, and the door handle on the front door moved away from the brace and pinned its fingers. The cleaning of the room with the shattered furniture didn't even smell: under the rim of the toilet the products of the previous guests were seeping in, dirt was pouring from the bedspreads onto the bed linen, rusty leaks in the bathroom seemed normal. The dishes were leaky, so they weren't even touched. Small trash on the table, a layer of dirt and dust behind the bed, dirty sockets, greasy seats, broken shrapnel on the only window in the ceiling hanging from the cobweb ceiling, etc. The extra bed didn't wash the linen because we were booking a room for two. And even though we didn't need this bed, the only thing that disgusted us was the look of it: yellow divorces from urine on the mattress weren't even covered with two bedspreads.
Even last year Hotel Siberia provided at least disposable slippers, brushes with toothpaste sachet, sachet with shower gel and shampoo, this year there was none of these. Even the liquid soap on the wall dispenser could not be used - the dispenser was broken. Already silent about the fact that no marking with the date of contents is worth, it is unclear when and what was poured into this dispenser, which no one uses (broken). At the reception, it was said that there was also a shower dispenser with shower gel and shampoo. In fact, there was one dispenser with unknown contents. The tiles in the bathroom are broken in places. In addition, last year, the room at check-in had several tea bags, sugar sachets, drinking bottled water for two. This year the hotel "Siberia" kindly provided one teaspoon for use, and the water at the reception was told to take from a special room with a cooler, which was supposed to be entered with a keychain-pill. First of all, you didn't need to use a keychain to access this room - the door opened like that. Secondly, dozens of water canisters were unloaded in the room, with no pumping system installed and no hint of a cooler installed. We never left with anything.
Plenty of rooms at the Siberia Hotel are available, but you will still not wait until 5:00 p.m. after previous guests to check in, so that employees do not have to spend cleaning the available rooms. What's more, Etnomir has raised the price of both a room in this hotel and an animal's accommodation. Last year the pet surcharge was 500, this year it's 1000. What is also new is that keys are now issued at the main reception of the Himalayan House, instead of in “Siberia” as before. So the eviction now has to be planned half an hour early, because you have to go to the Himalayan house to hand in the keys at 2 p.m.
By the way, last year at the ethnohotel "Siberia" we were moved from room to room several times, but in each of them there were problems either with the door, with furniture, or with the lack of a working dispenser with soap. Which means all the rooms in this complex are in this state and the administration is well aware of the problems, but is still doing nothing about it, a year later.
Why didn't we try to resolve the issue when we moved in after seeing joints like this? Because to get the new keys, we'd have to go back to the Himalayan house for reception, come back again, and it's not like another room would have pleased us. Before we settled, we had found more than 20,000 steps, and we no longer had the strength to walk back and forth again for the keys alone.
This year's Dinopark was equally disappointing: entire venues fell apart and rotted. Some of the plaques you can't read are in foliage, mud and branches. You can't sit on the shops - it's all taped off because the wooden flooring is in a bad state. A sand veranda with excavations and access to a children's lodge turned into a swamp, although we were in the heat and the rainfall in Etnomira was not a week before we arrived. However, a couple of stitches were placed on some exhibits, the fallen teeth of the dinosaurs were inserted, the sound and mechanics were fine-tuned somewhere, meaning repairs directly to the dinosaurs are poorly done. But it doesn't save the situation - there's a feeling that the dino park has been abandoned too.
Wild World Park of Russia killed in general: closed for reconstruction. There is no information about this in the "Attractions" tab of the Etnomir website. Only by clicking on the picture of Wild World Park itself do you know that technical work is being done there. At the same time, in the park itself, through a grid of fences and fences, you can see that there has already appeared some self-built, houses to live in. It became obvious that the park with its forest, which used to be a place to walk, enjoying the coolness, nature and figures of various animals, was likely to be built up.
Half of the structures from the open-air exhibition of the "Housing of the Peoples of the World" have become rotten rubble, something has already been dismantled, something has been abandoned, and the most wonderful Pelican has disappeared altogether. Themed stands describing interesting places and locations in various regions of Russia are partially crawled, partially faded.
On the main street of the world on weekdays almost everything is closed, there is definitely nothing for those who have already travelled. Weekends are more fun, as some museums, locations, events, shops and Things to do are only available from Friday to Sunday, and only those who haven't been to Etnomir will be interested.
Prices in restaurants are not small, and in the museum of the Russian oven you will no longer buy the freshest sausages in dough, yesterday's pastries can now be bought only in the bread shop of the ethnohotel "Belarus". Maybe it's just Wednesdays and Thursdays so we don't know.
There was no one at the "discotheque" on the programme of the day, and no one came to the "tour" on the programme of the day. Animators and Smokers of Ethnoworld on social media try to entice visitors with their programs and popularize at least some movement, and in fact you get to know the unsightly inside of such PR.
If you don't have a car, don't even try to come here on your own, you're not leaving here. We tried to leave Etnomir for Moscow in a Yandex taxi for hours. Etnomir on the page of his website writes how to get his own way with portable electric trains, taxis, and on social networks even indicated the estimated cost of taxis from Etnomir to Moscow - up to 2000₽. In fact, however, we tried to leave for several hours, calling a taxi on the Yandex-Go app without success. Taxi drivers refused bookings, the price tag went up, and the situation did not change even when Trips went up to 4,000₽. Out of frustration, we called Etnomir, where the girl kindly advised to contact the reception for the numbers of other taxis Balabanovo and Borovsk, since Yandex turns out not to carry people from Etnomir. In addition, she advised to try ordering a taxi from the same Yandex by phone instead of via the app. We called and called a cab on the phone 27 times! And no, it's not a typo. Eventually we managed to leave Etnomir for Moscow via the Yandex taxi app, switching class from economy to comfort. A one-way trip home on a weekday cost us 5006€. Almost like Flights to Mineral Waters back and forth.
In general, the service level of the Ethnomira Park and the condition of the rooms "Siberia" is so deplorable that there is no longer a desire to return, and after all, last year we were literally fascinated by the ethnopark and turned a blind eye to the joints in the hotel, as there were more positive experiences.
Due to the negative impressions of visiting the park, accommodation and yesterday's adventures with a taxi, it became necessary to take legal action to recover damages for expenses incurred, for non-compliance with basic sanitary standards of treatment and cleaning, for poor service delivery, for misleading.

We'd heard so much about Etnomir, so wanted to come and so it happened, on 22/07/2024, my family and I came to what I thought was this posh park. Went to the territory, at the beginning everything is beautiful, locations of India, Southeast Asia, then great children and sports grounds, well hotels stand, not so, and then begins the most interesting thing: yurts , start from time to time everything breaks down, spoil, inside the yurt torn roof, as such everyday to show how life lived, no, the boards all rot, impression depressing, then went to husky land, poor dogs, tortured and unhappy looking, thinner, all the time lay, they are in a terrible valier, the floors are covered with pieces of plywood and cardboard, very sorry they became, poor dogs. Further down the path of rotten boards from which nails stick out, the size of 80 mm, and those digging to pierce the leg, if not looking down, reached the pet farm. Okay with it, the smell, cows, rabbits, donkeys, goats - smell be healthy), but there are a million flies, they're around poor animals, sitting on them, the aviaries are small, the impression is depressing. Then they reached the lake, where you could go boating, but it didn't work. (near the big building-incomplete, lying old catamarans, on the ground deflated swimming pool with foam remnants, phew, not cleaned and dirty, then saw the toilet, thank God, turned out to be a worker, but along stand houses like residents of the far north, which are for rent! Guys, one was open, we went in there and we were horrified - the mattresses on the yellow-stained beds, the smell of it, immediately escaped with their noses shut, and that makes houses worth a lot. Everything hasn't been renovated since the park opened, the boards are rotten, the paint is dipped and so on! The yard of Belarus and Ukraine, the houses are cute, beautiful, but everything comes to such a sad state, because there has been no cosmetics for a long time, everything is in a sad state, it is so depressing. Dear park owners, I greatly appreciate your idea and vision to embody a beautiful park, they are beyond praise, but for this park to bring joy, pleasure and a pleasant and interesting time, it urgently needs to be restored, repaired and cleaned up. Only one, unfortunately, downside so far.

The largest ethnographic park-museum of Russia, one of the main attractions of Kaluga region, 1.5 hours drive from Moscow - all this is Etnomir, and we came here for the second time!
Ethnic courtyards, excursions, holidays, workshops, museums, restaurants - to go everywhere you need five days at least. And most entertainment is included in the price of entrance ticket to the park or available when staying in a hotel.
Last summer, we lived here for three nights and we didn't have enough, and now we're here for two more and we didn't make it all 🤗.
There are now five ethnoyards in the territory of Etnomir (more are planned):
1. Museum of the Russian Oven
2. Podvorye
3. Ukraine and Belarus
4. North, Siberia and Far East
5. South Asian countries
Walking through them is a pleasure. And recently, Etnomira opened a new "Amur Baths" for bath lovers, and a very beautiful restaurant "Taiga", where you can have a nice time.

I don't recommend the Himalayan House. The service is terrible. 15,000 a night and get a room in front of an Indian restaurant where the gopota yells until 3:00 a.m. and can't rest. 2 calls to reception with no results! A terrible experience for that amount. Very upset because the 7th was my birthday. No congratulations from the hotel. Even restaurants are charged, although the website lists a 10% discount. Again only the restaurant said that the discount is only on the birthday and only the issued certificate at the reception.
Breakfast is just...
TELL YOU NOT ASHAMED OF THEM? It's like pigs were fed leftover food. Even the dining rooms have more choice and taste better.
I'm just disappointed... She ruined her anniversary. I will never come to you again in my life.

Expected more. The grounds are not very well maintained, a lot of them are under renovation.
In restaurants, prices are Moscow, and no service.
Half of the museums can't be reached because they're closed and will only open on the day's schedule. And if I'm here for the day, why can't I look around? Apparently they make you visit paid locations (only the dinosaur park liked them). All weekend entertainment, I don't recommend going on weekdays. It's like everything's gone, empty everywhere, no concerts and no fun.
They lived in a Dao kit. I don't know how many rooms there are, but there's renovations going around, only workers. Pros: interior, everything new (that's why they chose Tao), kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator (important for long-term residents). Cons: it's very cold in the room, in the bathroom at all oak. And you can't get warm in the shower because the water is only warm. It's in a room for 9,000.
Also, tap water was said not to be boiled, but to be worn from a market that is far away. Other hotels like water coolers. And the administration doesn't care about Dao, because it's not their property.
Glad we only had one night.

I think that the complex, like a park, has not been completed. It all starts with dirt and clutter in the parking lot. Then you walk along dirty, uncleared paths from one object to another. The houses of the peoples of the world are of interest, but they are arranged somehow out of theme. There are many hotels that were filled, according to the park employees, to 100%. To be honest, I don’t understand such a holiday on Maslenitsa with a bunch of visiting visitors, high prices in all cafes and entertainment. In general, I expected more.

Ethnoworld.
We stayed in room 305 with a balcony, comfort category on the third floor on Maslenitsa 03/14-16/24. in the South-East Asia VIP building.
Pros: Interesting and educational program. Wonderful guides Elena, Yuri and Evgenia. Interesting excursions. Large territory..
To the Ocean and Ya Restaurant, it’s a 2-minute walk along the street or along the glassed passage from the building to the restaurant.
Breakfast buffet.
On weekdays there are few people, it is quiet.
There were a lot of people on Saturday, there were Maslenitsa celebrations, there were a lot of playgrounds, it was fun.
It was +4 outside during the day, -6 at night. It was hot in the room, when we checked in we turned off one of the radiators.
Beautiful view from the balcony.
Cons: On the first day there was a sewer smell in the room. The next day we sent the information to the reception and fixed it.
There were problems with the flushing of the toilet; the flushing mechanism was not working properly.
The sconce on one side of the bed does not have a switch; you must remove the plug from the socket. The place where the switch was was covered with electrical tape. Question about safety precautions.
Roller blinds on the windows. The mechanism does not work on one window. I had to stand on a chair and operate them manually.
The room has two balcony doors and the door opposite the bed folds down for ventilation; during the cold season at night this is not convenient.
In general, we were satisfied with the time spent these days in Ethnomir.

A good place to relax, both with children and as a couple. Lots of activities. I liked two restaurants: Indian Soul and Oasis. I don’t recommend the Mexican cafe (shawarma at the Kievsky railway station). We also tried baklava at the Turkish cafe and really liked it. Among the museums, the performance in the Mongolian yurt left an impression - I recommend it.

How I loved this place when it was just being dug up and how they could turn such a wonderful idea into just an attempt to squeeze as much money as possible out of vacationers!
Or the worst New Year in Ethnomir (and for me this is already 3! New Year is here!)
The horror began from the very check-in, as the parking for guests was moved to the new residential buildings, and those who stayed in the old residential buildings needed 800 metro somewhere, and even with their things. It became even more “fun” when a park employee began to kick us (hotel guests!) out of the parking spaces at the entrance, since these are spaces for employees’ cars! After an argument at the reception, we found out that if you get really upset, there is a transfer for your things.
We stayed at the Ukraine Hotel, since we didn’t want to live in the newly built human settlements. Unfortunately, the rooms are not taken care of (and we generally liked the room), the shower in the room is definitely in need of replacement (the door does not open all the way, there is a hole instead of the central shower!).
The New Year's program itself is now like in a crowded cheap restaurant. And why did I go to the Kaluga region to get this? The guests were also divided into groups (apparently based on the principle of who stayed in the more expensive and cheaper rooms). Some were saying goodbye to the old year, like in their kitchen with the president’s speech, and some, apparently from better rooms, were at the Christmas tree with fireworks. I remember the first New Year here, when you walked along Mira Street, and where they gave master classes on the traditions of different countries of the world, and now you get such horror for 60,000 for 3 (one of us was a 3-year-old child) + accommodation 21000 (for 2 days). And for this price there is also no breakfast, which we learned with horror when we decided to find out where we should go for breakfast.
In general, the place has become without an idea, just squeezing money out of visitors.
I want to ask just one question: Ruslan, how could you allow all this horror to happen with such a wonderful project?
