Our family had a phenomenal experience horseback riding today at
The Hecht Creek Ranch!! Our guide, BJ, was kind, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun. We had a relaxing and comfortable ride through the beautiful Sheep Mountain foothills and valleys close to the ranch. It’s an adventure that I’d highly recommend.

Due in no small part to our extremely friendly and capable crew, driving 500 head of cattle to their home pasture for the end of season transport was truly the experience of a lifetime!

Not sure where to start!!
We had so much fun and what an experience, Christian is the cowboy running this ranch and we learned so much about ranching, cowboy life and plainly, had a very good time. We highly recommend this ranch if you are interested in a cattle drive or trail rides. the horses are awesome and not your typical ...nose butt horses, they actually have their own brain but walk nicely for those who do not want to gallop. If this is your first time riding it be a good place to go but, I would advise anyone not to do such a trip without a little knowledge about riding. go take a lesson in your community first. You need to book in advance... it be kinda arrogant thinking you can just show up and ride. theres a lot that they think about before they select a horse for you.
