I was looking forward to seeing where my favorite coffee was processed. I was a little disappointed that the processing area was off limits.
The tasting area and small museum was interesting.
The best part was walking through a section of a lava tube.

A coffee break during our ship excursion. As we are not big coffee drinkers we mostly walked around drinking in the sites (so to say)
They had samples of many of their coffees and some teas. Also there is a small store so you can buy some of their wares.

Hubby and I drove to many of the coffee farms and centers along the Kona "coffee route". We sampled. We ate. We schmoozed. We bought coffee to bring home. BUT - of all this one was one of our favorites! The actual working farm with the detailed explanations for visitors was welcome. A very ample store with fair pricing also was available. We loved the variety of free samples and that snagged us to buy a bunch, too! The staff was helpful but not pushy. All in all a great time! And there is a great selection for tea lovers, too! Also a museum is free for visitors.

Nice view and interesting history. Be sure to take money and purchase their coffee. Add extra bags. We just got home and already wishing I had purchased more. The Best!!! They also have these delicious crispy cookies guava butter and mango butter. Omgoodness!!! What a treat and my grandchildren loved them!!! Nice gift shop and they give you a free sample of coffee.

Friendly and super helpful staff. We drank coffee and split a rum cake on their patio. Short film was very informative.

It's hard to know what this place was like pre-covid. We stopped by to get some 100% Kona coffee. On that front, the visit was a complete success. The kind lady let us have samples that made the follow-on sale guaranteed. They had options for small and large bags, both of which ended up being priced quite a bit lower than other options on the island. The 'museum' side of things, however, was quite small. A lot of what was previously tour areas were still closed, limiting the educational side of the visit. Still, if you just want the coffee, this is an excellent option.

This coffee center has a lot going for it.
1. It's got coffee, obviously, and lots and lots of samples. Try all the varieties to see what your palate prefers.
2. There is a lava tube on property that you can walk through
3. The flowers on the property are beautiful. Take a look at my pics.
4. The is a lot to learn about the history or coffee an other fun signage about Hawaii
Overall it was a much better stop that I was expecting.

On a day trip from the island of Oahu by air, we did a tour of this island and in the afternoon we stopped at the Royal Kona Coffee Center where we were permitted to walk round and taste a number of flavours of their produced coffees, and purchase some of their products and also buy some souvenirs. Highly recommended.

Este fazenda de café produz o café da variedade Kona, que é uma delícia, e, em sua loja você pode comprar vários tipos de café e chás. No mesmo terrenos existe um antigo tubo de lava que você pode caminhar através, e também pode ver o processo de fabricação deste café que é vendido em todo o arquipélago do Havaí.

Royal Kona Coffee Center offers may free samples and provides for a self guided tour of their coffee processing. There is also a small lava tube that is very interesting to walk though. They have a store where you can buy their products and much more.
