This was such a fun way to see the mantas. A quick but fun paddle out to the reef with a small group (6 of us). We saw 6 or 7 mantas swim right up to us. Then a fun paddle in the dark back to the dock. Seriously, how often do you get to paddle a double canoe in the dark? The crew was excellent. Definitely knew what they were doing…more than I can say for some of the larger boats out there.

Fun fun fun experience. Definitely the right choice to paddle out instead of being on a powered boat- increased the magic level for sure :) The guides were fantastic, professional but fun, and overall a top notch activity and a must do while on the Big Island. Thanks!

Incredible! Seeing the manta rays is a once in a lifetime experience. I get seasick though and got very seasick being in the choppy water so bring anti nausea meds if you're like me. Still very fun and my girlfriend loved it!

My sister and I had an amazing time in Hawaii and this was one of the highlights! I loved being in a traditional double hull boat and rowing ourselves out and back (it's not far). Seeing the rays so up close and personal was an experience I'll never forget. Nice, friendly staff. I'd do it again in a heart beat!

With just a little paddling, you get to experience a hug with a giant manta ray! (Or many hugs and attend a real ballet show from these wonderful creatures - or monsters!)

We had an amazing manta ray snorkel experience with Anelakai Adventures. We loved using the motor-less double hulled canoes, and we were able to see quite a few manta rays feeding near us during the hour. We did the 9pm experience, and our tour guides were super knowledgeable and funny, and they provided us with the snorkel and wet suits we needed for the adventure.

The event was time efficient, making it easy to fit into our day schedule and was memorable because on number of manta rays and their sheer size.

Spectacular experience! The guides were exceptional & the paddle out and in made the whole adventure first class! The Mantas were so close you could touch them - definitely worth it!

This was the highlight of our trip!! Incredible experience!! You will lose yourself in the moment and forget where you are. The Mantas come right up to you when eating and seem almost playful! We were visited by a pod of dolphins on our paddle out which was unexpected and magical! There are a lot of companies to chose from but the short (very manageable) paddle out to the site of snorkeling was such an important and immersive part of this experience. 10/10, don’t leave Hawaii without doing this!!!

An experience you shouldn’t miss. The mantas are a unique species that are beautiful and strange.
The small group experience on the canoe is fantastic compared to the throngs on some of the boats. The crew was experienced and knowledgeable. I will be telling our friends.
