Great experience with e-bike rentals

My husband and I rented e-bikes for the day. We received a very good explanation of how to work the bikes and how to get to the carriage roads, and we were off! Had a great day riding around Acadia. The bikes worked beautifully. We were really impressed by the quality of the bikes and the whole e-bike experience! Note, there was no basket or carrier on the bike, so backpacks were helpful for carrying our picnic lunches.

We had a great day to kayak. Our guide Chris was great and very informative. We saw porpoises, sea otters and lots of loons. Would definitely recommend this trip

Celeste was a fantastic guide for our kayak trip around Bar Harbor! We were grateful for her expertise and insight about the area. Highlights included sewing a seal and bald eagle on our trip around the islands!

Poor bike maintenance by shop

My wife and I rented Ebikes for the day. My bike would not shift at times and made loud clunky noises and skipped gears as I tried to peddle. Then the chain came off. To put the chain back on my hands got covered with grease. And the gears still did not work. I do a lot of biking and know how to operate a bike but this bike's chain or cassette was damaged. I did not know if I would be able to make it back to the shop. This ruined my experience. Upon returning to the shop I informed the rental shop and they just said "Thanks for letting us know"...basically that was just too bad and go away!!

Acadia carriage roads

Acadia bikes were awesome! Bikes were so comfortable and easy to use. We rented e-bikes and covered 32 miles in 6 hours in the Acadia National Forest on the carriage roads. We never would have seen so much without the ebikes! The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful in designing our route. I highly recommend this company!

Great bikes with easy access to the carriage trails. We rented two regular and two e-bikes for two days. Friendly and very helpful staff (thanks for the extra help with my mistake on the reservation!) A great weekend of riding and we easily made thirty miles on the e-bikes without fear of a low battery. The attached bike cooler unit that we also rented was a plus for our picnic lunches. Appreciate the map and directions to safely enter and exit Acadia.

Great Bicycle rentals

Great place to rent bicycles. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice bikes. We rented bicycles on two separate days and both days were great. We went up to Jordan Pond in Acadia and all around the park. Also rode in Bar Harbor to meet friends. Bicycles are the best way to get around in Bar Harbor and Acadia. We highly recommend Acadia Bikes.

Awesome E-Biking Experience

I rented an e-bike and LOVED it. The Carriage Roads are beautiful but honestly would have been torture if I had gone with a traditional bike. It’s still a pretty good workout, but makes the experience a lot of fun. I kept the rental for about 5 hours and took the bike all over the park. I would have stayed out longer if I had had more time on my parking meter. The staff was friendly and very helpful with tips and recommendations.

Best Bikes in town!

E-bikes were high quality, easy to use, and well maintained. Staff took the care & time to explain the routes of the carriage trails and how to use the bikes properly. Easy directions to navigate to the Carriage Road Entrance. Don't be afraid to use full power, as after a 6 hour ride and 30 miles, I still have over 4 bars of power left. Great bikes. Great experience. Will definitely rent from them again.

Awesome E-Bike excursion

We had a wonderful scenic ride through Acadia National Park. We got to see areas of the park we didn’t see from the park loop or hiking. Simply breathtaking. The E- Bikes made cycling so easy and enjoyable. We definitely recommend it. The staff at Coastal Kayaking Tours were very helpful and pleasant to work with. We got great instructions and customer service. So glad we booked the E-Bikes for a fun day!
