A bit of a surprise for those who are not in the know. This is a hidden little park surrounded by old buildings, a could of cafes and restaurants. It was rundown and dangerous not too long ago, but is now very nice. Good place to sit for a bit.

South Park is small, hidden gem in the heart of busy San Francisco. Easily accessible, relaxing, and a great place for a picnic (with plenty of dining options in the area).

Great little park for this area. Good place for pets, kids and the locals. Just keep an eye open for "situations" that don't need to be there. Pretty friendly too. Recently cleaned up and renovated so that will also help the area.

It's so easy to walk or drive pass this park when going to the AT&T ballpark. Once you are in the vicinity, you will feel its 19th century historical significance. It went from being an exclusive neighborhood for the wealthy, to drug infested area, gentrification from the Dot com workers and a new generation of tech hub. The buildings enclosing the park often keep the busy traffic noise out. You can have picnics, meetings and other gatherings in this beautiful park. Many patrons enjoy its cafe and restaurants. It's worth the visit if you are heading to the ballpark.

Nous avons du longuement marcher pour arriver vers cette charmante place avec un parc au centre. Les maisons environnantes sont belles et variées. Franchement pour faire une petite pause et admirer le quartier, idéal, vaut le petit détour.

A unique neighborhood in San Francisco, old Victorian buildings surrounding an oval-shaped park. Tranquil. Almost no traffic. The park has been recently renovated.

Hope they can keep this place clean and safe. Took a while to complete the renovation. Now newly opened and is a nice place to visit.

Classic bistro fare, tasty, comfortable, quiet and classy. We both had Halibut, with a vegetable broth and overlay. Not an easy dish, but bursting with flavor.

South Park is a small oval park in an area that contains some small IT and web companies. Its popular place for workers at nearby companies to hang out and eat lunch.
